h went and picked up dinner for us, sometimes he can be so thoughtful.

I've been sitting here in a long sweatshirt shivering all day. Boo. I did test for covid and it was negative, thankfully. Must be just a cold.

Put some pants on!

One time, my mom's neighbor came to her porch at night in his pajamas, and she yelled this at him, so it became a running joke.

Another time, the baker's Down daughter encountered me in the gym locker room as i was toweling off after my swim n shower, and she got all offendrd and yelled at me, Put some clothes on! So that too.

Oh - fireworks starting, its like 8:40 pm.

fireworks started early last night here too. One of our neighbors had some super loud ones but thankfully they didn't last long.

well we got away with not taking any calls yesterday, so that was nice. But i'm in the first group assigned to take calls so I've been on the phones all morning taking web calls (on lunch now). it hasn't been too bad yet. busy, of course. but i am in an unusually good mood today so that helps! I am ever so glad I got the sertraline. i am probably going to stay on it indefinitely instead of just through this month. it's really helping all the way around. h said something the other day about how much easier i've been to live with lately so he's noticed the difference.

What a joke all the therapists I have seen turned out to be. Preying on vulnerable clients and acting like they had a clue what they were doing.

R the first therapist I saw for 3.5 years now has a criminal record.

He also wrote "as a white, middle-class man, I regret not recognising sooner the suffering of others less fortunate than me at the hands of the state."

If you do stupid things you win stupid prizes.

Not saying the medication is not working, but maybe the change also comes with knowing Stormi is okay and getting through the Christmas period.

I'm glad you're in a good mood! Out of curiosity, does it bother you that your H said that to you at all? I feel like it would bother me, even though I know I'm hard to live with at times. Maybe at most times (certainly today!).

I was being particularly self-critical in session today.

Dr. T: The over-under on you calling yourself "pathetic" in a session is 11, and you're getting very close to that, with 20 minutes left. So be aware of that.

Me: I know, I'm very self-critical. But wait, could you make money off it? Did you bet on it? Do you have the over or the under?
We both laughed.

It helped that he called it out though. I stopped before referring to myself that way the rest of the session. Like I'd be about to say it, realized what I was saying, and stopped.

For those who don't know about sports betting (it might be used in casino stuff, too), people will bet on the over or under for a game. Like, in American football, maybe it's for the total score to be 40. If someone bets the "over," they win if the score is 41 or more. The under wins if it's under 40. (I don't think either win if it's exactly 40.)

No honestly it didn't bother me... I think mostly because of working at home and not seeing other people very often it's good to have a lil corroboration.

slowly feeling better, thanks. I have some throat lozenges at my desk and a thing of chlorseptic spray. And I keep heating up my rice sock to hold against my ear every now & then, the heat really helps. It's not too bad anymore today! maybe that's why i'm in such a good mood, i'm feeling better too.

thanks. he's doing pretty good all things considered. still sleeping a lot but that's to be expected at 18. He continues to eat and drink normally. He sure gave us a scare when he stopped eating/drinking. He continues to handle losing his sight pretty well - we're just making sure we don't change anything around in the house because he knows his way around as it is set up. he has been asking to go for walks out front again even, I stay right with him of course since he can't see I don't want him wandering into the street. he just meanders slowly down the driveway and usually lays down in the front yard.

-Japanese scientists were the first to find SV40 contamination.

-Genomics scientist Kevin McKernan in Boston confirmed the presence of DNA plasmids, which has been replicated by German labs.

-The Spectator Australia was the first to run the contamination story.

-Mr Surgeon general is three years, too late to the party.

You could also buy him a cat harness, for walks to keep him safer in case he did decide to bolt out.
