While this has been an interesting thread to read, I can see also there seems to be a fundamental disagreement and a set of people who want to argue certain finer points, when the original poster has stated repeatedly this is not the thread to argue such points.

A "sanctuary" is really a place for people to come, chat amongst others who feel the same way, and feel safe.

It is specifically not for religious or spiritual arguments or debates. I encourage you to go to a site like Beliefnet if you'd like to debate the finer philosophical issues of religion or spirituality.
