Hrm, yes I am a good enough knitter. Maybe I will try to make a whole blanket, but that will take aaaaages!! Maybe I'll make lots of scarves and sew them together.

I googled broccoli rabe and actually I do know what that is. I know it by its French name, heh. I was expecting something exciting, like it being lit on fire

Dealing with a..pretty deeply ingrained delusion (that I can only barely quench my pride enough to call it such) for the last few days. Thinking I might need to take a step away from the internet, since it's the main way this delusion gets fed. Even if I am right, then I can't really do anything about it right now anyway, and worrying is just making me horrible to be around. If I don't show back up till a few days later, that's why. I'll pick up where I left off then, sorry.

I hope you're able to get it under control. If it's the internet feeding it, definitely take a break. Hope you're able to come back later.

Here. Had a good day most of yesterday. Tired. Trying to remember to make decisions based on logic and not feelings. Feelings have no regard for consequences. Plus, just because I feel like something is happening that doesn't mean it is. I got reprimanded yesterday for not being very reliable in my med taking. I have an alarm set on my phone and I've been doing good with it the past few days though.

Good morning! I woke up super hyper this morning! I expect to get lots done! Yay!

@fishsandwich, sorry it didn't turn out to be exciting! What's the french name? I've never added chickpeas before, but wanted to add protein. They were yummy.
Thanks for this!

World domination

No really, I'm planning my knitting project -- a new jumper or cardigan for my mother -- and ruminating about my career prospects. I think I'm going to ask for my pupillage to be deferred for a year.

How are you today?

Encouragement works much better then Discouragement.
One is positive and the other a negative.
A person who speaks/acts with dicouragement in a negative/angry mannor, it's their frustrations, and the only way for them to feel better about themselves is by pulling someone down.
I would'nt dwell on what they say or do. It is not positive/beneficial to you or the workplace.
I would suggest you repeat to yourself all the encouragements and positive feedback you have recieved, do your best to stay neutral when negative people intrude on you and your emotions. They are just trying to bait you to being upset/angry.

@fishsandwich: Ha! That reminds me of Pinky and the Brain. (it's a cartoon, it's not on anymore I don't think) "what do you want to do tonight, Brain?"...."the same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!!!!!!" (they're lab mice who have been experimented on)
You could, potentially dominate the world with knitting, but that would be a huge project! Maybe start with the sweater, and go from there.

I didn't realize deferring pupillage was an option. That might be good. Give you a chance to try out some other things, and really think about it.

I've been super hyper today, so I've been flying around doing lots of things with the puter open on the coffee table so I can chat as I go by. I'm actually being productive though, so that's great!

I watched it after school too. We had an old black and white tv most of the time I was growing up. When we eventually got a colour tv, I was amazed to see this show in colour! Who knew the animaniacs had red noses?? I don't remember time very well, but I feel like that was middleschool-ish.

Haha brilliant; I used to love that show as a child. Now the theme song is in my head too!!
There are people who 'knit bomb' London landmarks. They covered a phone box by parliament in a knitted jumper once! I can't imagine having the time for that.
Deferring my pupillage MAY be an option. Maybe. It depends on how much they want me at that Chambers. I have five years after I pass the Bar to take a pupillage, and I can probably get a different one in a year's time if I don't take this one and they don't defer. I will probably do that. I've pretty much decided that don't want to train as a barrister this year.

So . . . hyper eh? Good hyper or bad hyper? What kind of productivity? Did you make more leafy greens?
