my dads making me cancel this new appt with the new doc. he says its not a good idea to goto a new one.

Yes I saw them for acne as a teen...they are the best doctors...top of their class due to high profits and no call in derm...

You are an adult....you can make this choice....I would still go usually you need 24 hours notice anyway so you're probably stuck paying anyway...

he says im doing better now and i shouldnt go on pills because i wont take them.

Only you know whether you will or not....I don't know your history with taking them...however if you have to pay anyway I would just go to see if you get along better there is no reason you can't stay on the injection if that's what you want...

I still remember when that guy told you to blend your food....I would not stay with him.

i know he did. and he humiliates me with my hygiene. but my dad keeps say its not a good idea because im so stable now.i have 1 hour to cancel. my current doc isnt a bad doc he just says something really stupid stuff to me. and the reviews on this new pdoc isnt very good. so idk :/

my dad said if i change pdocs i should wait at least a month til the shots wear off to change

Earlier I accidentally came across a macabre photo on the internet. The graphic photo made me burst out in laughter. Disturbing. Besides that I felt nothing.

I can see why he's worried, but does he know how much stress you're under at the other clinic? And you've been taking your pills at home okay, right? The stress of the other clinic isn't healthy for you either. I think you should keep the appointment to at least see what the other doctor says.

its too late i canceled it. but i might remake the appt later in the month. i am under stress at the other clinic. but yes ive been taking my celexa and xanax pills as prescribed at home. so im doing well with taking my pills.

Well, then when you remake the appointment show him that you're doing a good job with taking your pills. The only way to prove it is to do it. I know this very well. Everyone always used to tell me I was going to fail. My dad always would tell me I was going to give up and fail. And sometimes I would believe them and I would fail. And other times I would get mad and I would prove them wrong just for spite. That's another reason I try to hold this job for so long, because my dad and step-mom said I was a loser and I was going to quit right away. Now it's been 6 years, so I sure showed them....

ill do what i can and try my hardest. its not easy for me to remember to take my meds but ill try.

The easiest way is to program a recurring alarm into your phone---even the old non-smart phones have this option.

It's the most effective---another technique I tried before that was the sleeve technique---you look at the color of your shirt sleeve when you take the pill because say today I'm wearing white then I know I took the pill today and not last night...

Still if you really have trouble why not just ask for a decrease to the 50mg injection instead of the 100?

I know, Newtus, I have the exact same problem. And alarms don't work for me. I have not yet found anything that helps me but have tried tons of things. The best thing that reminds me is suddnely realizing at odd moments "OMG I have to take my meds!"

thats the problem he wont decrease it. thats mainly what im asking for. either haldol in pills or lowered injection. he wont lower it. and he definitely wont give me pills.

God... this depression is so intense. I almost feel sick. x.x

No I meant if you change docs I know this guy will never do anything for you---but for the new doc if you go why not get a baseline 50mg haldol and get some add on haldol in pills if you want to add to it but at least you'll have a solid baseline.
