I have a broken wishdom tooth... it started hurting yesterday so bad. I know I have to get it out but it's hard to find a dentist who will pull teeth, esepcially broken ones, and oral surgeons are so expensive.

I find it really annoying that healthcare doesn't think of teeth as part of your health....

Actually it depends I had to go to an oral surgeon an get one broken out it was about $120 but it took them literally 5 minutes--they use this thing and just press against it until it breaks then pull out the pieces and sew up the hole---I don't even think it went through my insurance because I had to pay right away---but this is for teeth that have fully emerged not the impacted ones. You also need antibiotics and stuff for like 10 days.

Anyway if you really can't get a good price from an oral surgeon you can go to a dental school----when I was at university of michigan all the kids needing their wisdom teeth out would do this because you don't really get a student for major operations they just watch. Good luck!

Oh, I have dental insurance and it's supposedly $76 to get a tooth pulled. I've had my upper wisdom teeth pulled previously (do to one being broken.) But around here it's $300 at the oral surgeon to get a tooth pulled. The $76 is at the dentist, which no dentists do it, (I found one that did but he is no longer in the area.) So now I'm looking for one that takes my insurance. I have an EPO and most of the ones around only take the PPO.... (because they want you to pay $300 and not $76.) My husband had to leave a dentist in the middle of a tooth extraction and we had to race to the oral surgeon before the novacane wore off. We had to pay $300 before they even took him back with blood and everything.... I hate this town....

I don't mind antibiotics. I already have been through this before.

My depression has been pretty bad lately. Also had some nightmares and been having demon visuals. Only in my bedroom in the middle of the night. Only when I have these nightmares. I'm under a lot of stress lately. I've got big life changes coming up. Both daughters graduate in May and will move off to college after summer. I feel very happy for them but also I feel very lost. I will be alone. I want to be alone. I look forward to it. But do I trust myself alone? I'm not sure. Being completely alone might just send me completely under! I feel like I'm having a mid life crisis! This sux!

Thats where I was a couple of years ago.
Now its just Bean at home. I actually enjoy it to some degree but I understand about the depression. Every little stresser is sending me into a panic attack lately and I dont know why.

I just feel like getting into my truck with Daisy and driving far away! I'm just so sick of my life! If I didn't have 3 kids I would do this!

I think I'll go for a long walk after work with Daisy. It's 73 today. Beautiful weather! Maybe a long walk will help.

OMGosh. I say this every day.
Just drive and dont stop until I feel Im where I should be.
Mentally and physically.

Snow.....again....not going anywhere because the road is not plowed.

My mom almost took me to the hospital last night, but I refused to go. It would only make things worse.

I've had this urge before as well, but I also couldn't leave my kids. It will pass. I know it's hard but it will pass.

A little better, it's just the voices that are bothering me now. But sleeping is a living hell.

SSA is reviewing my disability case. I knew this day would come but I just didn't know when and now it's here. It can take up to 4 months for the review. Let the stress begin.

Good news, guys, a dentist near my work does broken tooth extractions and can get me in tomorrow after work. So only one day with this thing unstead of 3 months like last time. Yaya me. I'm kind of loopy at the moment from the pain so, hugs to everyone. Gotta try to focs on working.

You and I have a lot in common as far as bad childhoods I think. I really wish it had of been different for you and I growing up.
You can vent to me anytime. I agree, sometimes you just got to get it out!

Are you on disability now and this is a recheck or is this a new application?

Woke up feeling really depressed though decided not to go back to sleep. Hopefully I can get back on a regular sleeping schedule.

I'm on disability and this is my 2nd review. The first one was 10 years ago so I'm way overdue. My first review lasted 4 months and I went totally batshyt going through it. I'm assuming this time would require about the same amount of time as the last even though this letter that I received today is the short questionnaire form. But even though it's the short form SSA can still come back asking for more questions for them to decide whether or not to continue disability. It's totally stressful wondering if all your income will be cut off in just 4 months or less.
