Definitely true for me. More so when I'm PMS'ing but when I'm on my period too, it sucks.

But I'm lucky to have the abilify work for me. It lifted me out of anhedonia. I want to get an injection of that instead it just feels more cleaner and more effective than Invega. Both are better than risperidone.

Sorry risperdal users. Risperidone is the nastiest drug I've ever taken. It's jut dirty and makes you feel ..idk
Risperdal totally ****ed me over, so yeah I get that.

I'll need an opinion from my old psychiatrist..

All that stuff he was writing about me during psychosis I should he asked for copies.

Starting on Invega tomorrow on pill form and then free injection
It's weird they're labeling you with a subtype since those are fairly out of date, but maybe things are different in Canada idk.

Just remember that this diagnosis doesn't change much - although from what I've seen it might be accurate - it's just another label.

Sorry Tweaky, that's a bit dirt. But as others have said it's just a label, it doesn't change anything and don't let it define you.

yea they quit the subtyping in the DSM 5. so if you have any subtype of schizophrenia its no longer clinically that subtype. its just plain Schizophrenia now.

I think most people look at schizophrenia as a spectrum now rather than a specific disorder, since three people can be diagnosed with schizophrenia and not share a single symptom.

I'm giving the abilify a chance because I've been on it for two years, just because it worked extremely well. If I don't have insurance for it then I'll just take the pill form or maybe invega. I think I'll take the invega.
Another atypical antipsychotic that worked for me is Geodon. It's gone generic. However, here in the states its still about $100 for 30 80mg capsules. That is way cheaper than name brand abilify.

Good news! Abilify goes generic here in April, and should be mass produced by May.

It's more about treating symptoms than it is titles. That's what my Psychiatrist told me. He said let's worry about getting the medicine right.

I agree. When I took risperidone my sex drive plummeted. My vision went blurry. I had akathasia. My skin was very dry. I gained 60lbs. It was the danger of diabetes that finally led me to be treated with Geodon. It was better than being in psychosis though, not much, but a bit better.

Yeah, on top of being an atypical antipsychotic, it also raises your dopamine levels a bit. It really helped raise my dear friend out of her depression. Thank god for atypical antipsychotics. They are so much more comfortable to live with.

I was getting side effects on 15mg and they freaked out. But I think the side effects were going away but idrk because they lowered it and have me cogentin.

I still want to try Abilfy at 15-20mg. I still want to give it a chance. But idk should I just not say anything because meh what ever

I'll just throw blind trust into them

I don't think that's a good idea

Any reassurance? :/

What!!!!! Can't understand anything here. It's just not being registered for my head. I am a different thing, a non entity! I AM A NON ENTITY. Things go through me differently. My keyboard is being tracked, my webcam has been hacked. Trying to scare me by stealing my little bits and bytes! How many bytes would you like? There's something in my arm, a chip, tracking me and my whereabouts, stopping my designs, throwing up into nothing but peripherals that don't contain what they're looking for. I have to get this chip out. I'm going to take it out. I can see it it's there! SHUT UP! Stop talking for more than 5 seconds and listen to me. It listens. **** **** **** **** **** ****

That reminds me exactly like myself in psychosis. Are you taking your meds?
