Taking meds as prescribed because everything goes bad when I don't. I want to do well in life. I didn't drink this year. I can't believe how fast time is going. Haven't smoked in half a year. At the moment, it's a cigarette in the morning or coffee break.

There was a delay and so my psychologist/psych nurse will drive to where I live and give the injection which he's going to do from now on.

From previous experience, I predict that I'll be much better in a week. So much better like I was two weeks ago.
Hey Tweaky, I'm sorry you're feeling so poo. Hope you'll be feeling better sooner a week. I'm glad you were able to write how you're doing, even though the motivation is low. This year is flying by, it would be nice to things on pause.

Morning,

Got my blood tests / check up this morning. Means I won't be able to have breakfast for a couple of hours... will be starving by the time I do!

I think that is actually quite a normal thing, plenty of people say things like "um" and "er" and "but" when they are talking. I think social anxiety definitely plays a role in things like that, I certainly found when my GAD was playing up that I had trouble communicating what I wanted to say. It's like being a rabbit in headlights. Do you find yourself talking more fluidly when you are comfortable, like when you are talking to your family?

Just back from the doctors... my blood pressure was fine & I'll be getting the results of my blood sugar / cholesterol tests next week.

I thought I would have been starving having had to wait an extra 2 hours for breakfast but I was fine really. I guess the extra 20lbs I put on whilst on risperidone has given me more reserves...

Also booked in for an asthma review next month. I'm supposed to get it once a year but I'd had no letter through so had forgotten but the nurse brought it up today. It's not really played up this year, I don't think I've had to use my inhaler once so it'll be interesting to see what the spirometry shows when I get that done.

Hey neil, yeah I think so will be good to have some structure to my weeks again. Lack of things to do and occupy my mind has played havoc a bit

Anyone I've met with schizophrenia in hospital spoke the same. Just like you described. It was the first thing I noticed when I watched your YouTube videos. Would it be a schizophrenia thing or just a coincidence? I speak to fast personally and mumble sometimes so I'm the opposite, I wouldn't like anyone to make fun of me for it. So tell your sister to feck off In a nice way.

Brilliant! It covers up the scars so well! I'm just waiting on the cash to get my two sleeves done. Your photo's are the reason I'm going to go for it, I wasn't sure how they'd look over the scars but it hides so much. Your arms are in the same condition as mine so this gives me hope. I just have to find an artist who's comfortable with it. Do you reckon it hurts more with all the scar tissue? That's kind of irrelevant to me because I need to get it done but just curious as to what to expect! Thanks Justme!

No got it for free the price for it is staggering, im sure it is four figures even for one individual. i dont know how much institutions have to pay...

childrens lit should be pretty cool. i had a course on fairy tales that traced them back over several centuries. the earlier versions were terrifying and have been toned down over time but much of the innuendo targeted at adults remains. sounds like yours is going to be relatively recent childrens lit though. hope you do some dr seuss!

i guess its a schizophrenia thing because its not a coincidence. and i take things so literal. what people say or ask me. so people have to word what they say very carefully and speak clearly otherwise ill interpret exactly what you say as you say it. and i get confused if people arent clear in what they say.

That's great chicken! I'm so glad it's helped you go for it. Good luck with finding an artist. Be prepared for some people to not be comfortable with it, some people turned me away before I found a lovely place that would do it. It definitely hurts more over scars so be prepared but it's so worth it. I feel so much better about my arm already and it's not even finished yet.
