Talked to my doctor about the bingeing and purging, she is setting me up to see a nutritionist. I was nervous about talking to her about it but my social worker already went in before me and brought it to her attention. I also have a workbook I'm going through on the subject and one of my groups I go to covers these issues. So hopefully I'm on the path to recovery

Hello everyone.

I've been feeling like utter **** due to benzo withdrawal. I'm going to be calling my doctor about it today.

Otherwise I've been busy in therapy, I've started really digging in to my maladaptive coping skills. It's been hard work but it'll be worth it, I've already done a lot of work on some of it already. Now I'm just going deeper.

I'm also doing a ton of writing. I'm putting in 8 to 10 hour days of writing lately! It's exciting, I'm glad I can focus on doing the things I love lately. And when I take a break from writing I check in around here, even if I can't reply to all of you you're all still in my thoughts and I wish you all the best!

My grandmother is cooking me breakfast and then I fly on ze plane back home.

It will be cool because my dad bought my third pair of 300 dollar noise cancelling earbuds (So I don't have to hear another baby crying on the plane) because the other two broke. This time it has a warrantee though ^_^

i like it enough to keep going, lol. i like getting paid!!! i have psychosis but it's way more stable now than ever. i do get overwhelmed at work, sometimes i take prns there. ive been working there for 2.5 yrs. the first year-year and a half was really difficult for me. i had a lot of paranoia and sometimes i would hear voices at work. i remember one night i was so agitated and paranoid i just kept pacing around the front end in a circle. i knew my coworkers were staring at me but i couldnt stop. they all know i am "weird" but not the specifics. they are more nice to me now, or maybe i finally stopped being paranoid of them, who knows. i do tend to get paranoid over stuff that happens there but overall its a much less occurrence than it was in the beginning.

edit: i like it for more than just being paid. it gets me out of my house, around people, and out of my irrational brain

I feel weird today. I think it's stress from being on my own too much. I went to the park, it made me feel better, I felt drawn to it again. I didn't have water to wash my hands as I went through though. I'm thinking about not taking my meds. What's the point in taking them. It's all pulling me in again.

Sitting in the waiting room to see my GP. My psych NP I saw today, made my appointment for a physical check up for today at 1 so I had to run back to my house from the clinic to get my wallet then get a cab here. After the checkup they should refer me to see a nutritionist. Chaos. Can't wait to get home and relax lol

Forget I said that, not taking meds is a bad idea.
I know that really I just go over to the dark side when I feel bad

For me personally sometimes I struggle with taking meds because I don't always see just how much they're actually helping me.

You prefer vodka to whiskey? Vodka is better, granted, in fruit juices like tomato and orange. But strictly for a coffee, I'd prefer a whiskey (and I've never been much for drinking whiskey).

You really should make a new habit of not taxing your heart. I mean, yes, you're young, but it wouldn't be the first time a young person had a heart attack, and going forward it's a very bad habit to continue taking uppers and downers on the same day, or even alternating days, or alternating weeks, etc.

I just want your life to get better, not worse.
Thanks for this!
