I feel a bit hyper today. Like good mood. Not hypomanic.

I'm thinking of maybe picking up a CBT or a DBT workbook for bipolar.

Any advice on what would be best? Am I jumping the gun on it?

I should work so I'm not overwhelmed tomorrow but I just don't feel like it. I'm enjoying hanging out with the dogs.
What's everyone else up to?

I think if I can hang another year with work I'll be all set. There are some things I have to take care of but after that I'm good. Just have to make it a year *sigh*

That's good----honestly I find working with a T to be totally like 5 million times better than a book until you are familiar with the concepts. It can sort of ring hollow if you don't experience it first hand and its not tailored to your experience.

I just feel like I want to get a head start. I feel like I'm wasting time not doing anything to help myself. I don't know how to self care really. Deal with my emotions I've always suppressed or let out in bad ways (self harm, skin picking, hair pulling, etc).

Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to buy more books and bury my head in something until I get bored again. Maybe it might work. Maybe I'll try something. Try to be proactive. Maybe maybe maybe maybe who knows gimme an excuse hahaha.

Willow posted some worksheets in a thread for 12AM. It has some good stuff on DBT and ACT.

I went to the gym and worked my legs, but I messed up the settings to work my arms and had to slink away. But a PT from the old team saw me, and touched me, and smiled at me and said I was doing great, so that was really nice.

I'm not sure I know any specific to bipolar----I used one for psychosis but that is from the UK and no one has been able to order it here-----honestly the only one I thought was any good that I bought was called taking out your mental trash. Rian E. McMullin.

Phew. My money wasn't going well this month. Literally was almost out and had sold some games at a store to get some funds. Thankfully I've managed to get some more money out my savings so I can breathe now. It's not a nice feeling running out of money...

I really need to get on top of my spending. I've not been very sensible in recent times. A lot has gone on cigarettes, beer and takeouts.... just got to break the bad habits I've gotten into.

Maybe you can set up a jar like the non smoking jar where you put a couple of bucks in for some future reward every time you don't smoke or drink when you really want to?

Don't ya just hate money? It's the source of so much stress. I'm glad you were able to get some out of savings.
I have a really bad habit of spending money on things I don't need. Or to be more specific things my kids dont need. It's a hard habit to break. Now I get to the point where I want to spend money but remind myself that they have everything they need.
I've actually been able to hang onto $60 for the last 2 weeks (usually gone the same day). Just enough for snacks and my extra curricular activity.

You could eBay those pants especially if they're really messed up with grease stains, etc., to sell in Japan. They pay good money for ultra used jeans from the USA.
