I’m losing it. Forgot condensed milk so I can’t make key lime pie.
So I found a recipe for carrot cake mmmmm but I don’t have apples or applesauce...so I’m making pear sauce Roll Call 142! so I can make fattening cake.

I hope the government shutdown ends soon. They only have enough SNAP funds through February. That means I can't buy food after next month

I have a really rough time in the evenings so I listened to music for awhile with some scented wax melting and drinking peppermint tea. Then I played Animal Crossing on my 3DS for awhile. After that I did the dishes, mopped the kitchen floor and sprayed air freshener. Then I read for awhile. and thought. My faith has almost disappeared in the past several months. I just kept ignoring and putting God on the back burner of my life, trying to find happiness through other things. And I can't find it, because it's not found there so I prayed. and I plan on working on my faith life. I can't find peace, I used to have so much peace in God.

Have you read the Chronicles of Narnia? You probably already know how it relates to Christianity. Have you read C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity book? I believe DOOR said it was a good book. I plan on getting it for my grandmother since she's been leaning on Christianity pretty heavily.

An interesting movie in the works is by Mel Gibson. It's going to be the sequel or I should say, the events that happened after Jesus was crucified, when Jesus rose and descended into hell. I'm interested in how Gibson will depict hell. I wonder if he will basically make it Hades or something beneath even that. I was listening to a podcast on Hell, I think NPR recorded it, I think it was NPR's A1 podcast, and one guy said that Hades was just where all souls go to wait for Jesus' return, and then they will be judged then, whether they go to hell or heaven.
Thanks for this!

I haven't read The Chronicles of Narnia or Mere Christianity yet but they've been on my "to read" list for awhile. I'll have to check them out

I'm looking forward to that movie too, I have the Passion of the Christ on DVD

I’m sorry junk. She should have more respect for you than that. She knows you can’t be around that.
That makes me so mad.

Good morning everyone. How are things going today?

I'm okay. Just trying to motivate myself to do things this week. Gonna be really busy with a lot of things.

What's everyone up to?
