My best explanation is the spectrum of a bunch of different rainbow flags.
Maybe you could ask your therapist or psychologist about some books that might help you understand your inner self better. I ask my psychologist for books every time im there and every time he's given me a new book to read to discuss next time. It's really efficient too, because, by the time I see him again I then get to have an exchange about what I learned in the books recommended at the prior appointment. I can't imagine having these issues because I'm CIS He/him brought up in a patriarchy. I don't know much about sex and gender issues myself.

What's an A.S. and A.A degree? DO you know where in the social sciences?

Psychiatric Social Work just isn't something I can see myself realistically doing, I'm a very introverted person and I also feel that it might be a little too triggering working that intensely counseling psych patients.
So my friend got a degree in psychology, and then thought he could casually get into graduate school. His grades were like 2.8 I think, I can't remember, but he needed much higher grades.

I don't know any jobs for people that just have a bachelors in psychology. My previous therapist had a masters in social work, and she was good. She wasn't a guy, which was a real drag for me, since I have guy problems, but she was very active and would call once a week.

I think a psychologist needs at least a masters. It's sad that psychologist have to devote so much schooling which is really pricey. I think the only other department that is as tough as psychology to get a job in is philosophy. Dear god, if you want to get into philosophy you need to be a prodigy with tons of resources, and then you become an associate professor, then adjunct, blah blah blah.

If you find a professor that you like, I recommend to ask to see him/her to tell you the path you need to follow, and what the job market is like. It really helps to see the path, because after that, all you have to do is strive from their.

I'm definitely getting a Masters degree, but right now I'm working on my associates, halfway there, it's taken me longer because I have to do it part time and had to take breaks during past hospitalizations. I have a great GPA. You need a Masters for most careers anyway, I was initially intending on getting my MSW (Masters in Social Work).

I notice what male psychologists/psychiatrists say to me what needs to be said without consideration of my feelings which I need most times. I can be so lost in my own delusional way of perception that I like to be shocked with what people say about me.

I remember AtypicalDisaster (Even though female) called me out on my heroin needle thing. Even though I talked back, it was the best thing for me because I was so far in the deep end that it was like I was going to die a sad death.

Same thing happened in rehab. One woman (Sociopath) said I was glorifying which is what I thought I was supposed to do and say and I was having a panic attack while saying it out of addict entity consuming my soul and I felt so horrible.

I like therapists for the reason of giving a perspective that I've never had. I've always liked when people made fun of me because I take it as learning something new.

Still I'm afraid to do that to other people like my mom and her drinking or if someone is doing something stupid. I just sit back and watch it happen. I take abuse from people when I don't want it like from my step dad because I'm just a spectator and don't involve myself or take responsibility for my own actions. I should feel more hate, regret and revenge because that seems to build my character into standing up for myself. When people want to stand up for themselves, they get hurt and that's just something I need to step into.

I always make best friends with sociopaths tho if they don't want something from me.

There really aren't jobs for Psychology with a bachelors. Thankfully I have financial aid which covers my tuition, I did all my gen ed requirements at the community college already, I'm just finishing up the rest of the associates so I can transfer over to UAlbany

I’ve been looking into school for my son. I am so disillusioned by the whole thing. I’m so glad he’s going to trade school. He will always have a skill to fall back on. But he’d like to be an engineer of some sort.
In looking up jobs...it almost doesn’t seem worth the debt. The pay is okay but to be saddled with that debt right out of the gate...
Obvious disclaimer. We will pay for as much as we can of course but we aren’t the Rockefeller’s. They’ll need student loans. Also hoping for jobs with tuition reimbursement.

I spent 6 years getting getting 60 credits at the community college that all transferred to my local university. It was well worth it to take it slow, discover what classes I enjoy, building relationships. I didn't take college seriously until about 45 credits in. It was then, after my break up from my ex of 9 years, that I searched and found what I wanted to devote my life to.

So one of the fun things is to find out what parts of psychology you like. I enjoyed the intellectual history. There is a thin line separating philosophy and psychology. It's a really fun subject where you get to learn about our nature.
Thanks for this!

Gonna watch Netflix instead of study. I have all day tomorrow evening to do that. In the morning I'll be skiing.

Afraid to go to sleep cuz my bad trip made me afraid of the dark.

If I don't take atenolol at night, I'll be lying there in bed and every so often, I'll get a heart palpitation all of a sudden and it scares me so I take the atenolol.

I think it could be the Concerta. I can't take it anymore. I'm making an appointment with my doctor in the morning. Might have to switch back to vyvanse 30mg.

It's going to be so hard to function now with the withdrawal of Concerta but I guess I'll just drink a bunch of coffee..

I was told in the beginning that was Vyvanse is better for the heart long term than Concerta..

I dont know what could possibly be wrong though. My ECG would probably still show perfect readings. I don't get it. And I feel the way my heart beats in my mind that it is stressed which is why when I feel this way, I'm afraid to exercise.. not healthy..

I'm gonna go back to sleep now. Took an Ativan which will kick in 20 minutes before the Atenolol to make me feel safer.

This is partly why I'm afraid of the dark. I don't want to die in the dark..

Ever since I started invega, I started getting tachycardia. I want a complete med change and to be trusted with antipsychotics in pill form so I can take geodon or high dose seroquel or something. Then maybe I'll be better.

Morning! This week is flying by. Always does when the kids are home with me.
Going to go to work in a bit. I slept until 8:45!!! I’m just drinking coffee and waking up now. Then later I have to go see my guy. I don’t know what the kids have planned yet. So I may be driving all over creation too.
I’m that mom. I live out in the country. There is nothing around us. Growing up it sucked! We could never find rides out of here because it’s so far out of the way. So...we found guys that would drive us around. No thank you. Not my kids. I happily volunteer to play taxi for them and their friends.
Nothing else going on.
Have a good day everyone.
