I'm thinking of just saying screw what my doctor says and just coming off the APs. She doesn't think it's a good idea, but I do and I'm sick of my weight, I doubt the metformin she added will do anything to help anyway so I might as well get a start on stopping them.

If she has a problem with what I've done next time we meet then she can just discharge me as a patient and I'll continue on without meds

Idk maybe I should give the metformin a chance, I just feel like it's going to end up being a waste of time though

Are you on an antidepressant?

When your mood is good, you want to exercise and eat healthy, which makes you happier and the cycle goes around like that. If your mood is bad, you want to feel better which manifests itself as impulsive and self harming behaviour.

When stopping an antipsychotic, it's likelier that you'd have more negative thoughts about weight, have overactive thinking, delusions.

Try the metformin (My dad is on this and has lost weight but stopped taking and gained the weight back).

The ebook is one of the few standard prices I priced that specific format at. The paperback book is a bit of a struggle for me. I’ve used numerous calculators on that one.

Metformin typically blocks about half of AP weight gain.....

Thanks, Yes, I'm on 2 APs, 2 ADs and a moodstabilizer, my mood is good.

I always found Abilify to be pretty weight-neutral compared to Zyprexa, Serokill--a bunch of others. Might be worth considering. Strength and support.

Remember, if you stop it, there is a chance you could have to start chasing that psychosis stuff all over again and I am sure you know how unpleasant that can be. Don't forget that, is my advice, I guess. My last big psychotic time, it took almost nine months to make all the changes required to get me under control.

If I could, I wouldn’t mind being a freelance writer. I mean to be one to make a living wage.

Thoughts on me getting a case manager? I know blue bird either has one or had one. Was thinking with all this clozaril testing they might be useful.

I had one and am in favor for one. They do more than just oversee your “case”. Anything u need, they can help you with. From jobs to housing, to even where’s a cheap place to get a haircut. They know the area very well.

That sounds great, it's offered for free by medicaid so I am tempted.

They're great, mine got me into this nice apartment. They help with tons of stuff. She schedules rides for me to my appointments. She takes me to DSS if I need to do something there and I want someone with me to help, lots and lots of things.

Thanks, I appreciate that. yeah I'm just gonna give the metformin a chance. Because I'm doing very well on the meds I'm on. I took abilify before but it wasn't very helpful. The combo I'm on is:

-Trileptal
-Zoloft
-Wellbutrin
-Trilafon
-Thorazine
and Klonopin prn
