Good morning!

Charging my Kindle so I can read the book I got from my library. "A Mrs. Miracle Christmas" by Debbie Macomber. I love Christmas themed books, they definitely brighten my mood! Will go good with the chocolate chip cookies when I make them later in the week

Slept pretty well and not psychotic at all this morning so far, so, that is nice. All the fake/phony/derealized crap is gone and nto hallucinating. Very nice for me.

Gonna try to do some writing if I can today. Also gotta do some scut work around here. Did a little cleaning yesterday, which was much needed.

Hugs and support to all!!!

It’s just an AP....but the mechanism is slightly different than like every other AP as in it’s a low D2 binder but clearly has another pathway as well. I don’t even know if it’s approved for bipolar type stuff just hallucinations/delusions/sz.

Just wondering with the impulsive stuff if you’ve ever been tested for adhd? I swear I never had it prior to bipolar but once I did it changed me to jumping from on thing to another. They won’t give me a stimulant but luckily the fish oil counteracted this for me.

If you’re not taking fish oil, I’d say try it for a month and see if it works for you, like any med it’s going to depend on your personal genetics....it may or may not work.

Got Job’s book. Plus I wanna see about doing this StoryCorp thing. It’s where u interview someone you really admire in your life and their story will be put in the National Archives. Gonna do it with my dad and his experience growing up in Mississippi.

I thought that’s how I would be but by the end of it you just don’t give a Roll Call 168 =)....when I trained grad students I always told them they weren’t actually ready to graduate until they got to that point ...was meant to be a joke but now it feels like it’s just part of the high stress lifestyle.

Besides if everyone you know is a doctor it doesn’t really matter anyway. It’s like that spies like us clip, dr dr dr...etc.

I don’t have anyone in my social circle that’s a doctor. Hell, most don’t even have a bachelors. I have a couple certificates and I’m working on my bachelors of science in applied mathematics.

So for me getting a doctorate is a big thing. I don’t even think anyone in my family has a doctorate.

Thanks, I’m doing a lot of meditating and prayer and it’s helping. You should definitely get some cookies to make I was gonna wait till later this week to make them but I’m gonna make them today in about an hour from now.

I’m not messing with my meds anymore. There’s no point in messing things up when I’m on a good mix that’s helping me. I’ll just accept that I need them.

Anyway, I’m craving bacon. I saw a post on Facebook, a pic of bacon, now I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s been so long since I’ve had any. Maybe I’ll get some when I go to Denny’s next weekend.

By the time you finish all your coworkers and grad school friends also have one....I was the first in my family to have one but then my cousin got her masters in epidemiology along with a psych doctorate and my other cousin got his DO. Neither of my parents finished college so it should have been a big deal, but it wasn’t to me. My sister didn’t finish college either, but frankly she’s always been smarter than me. The degree doesn’t indicate much, it’s literally a piece of paper I’ve got in a file somewhere.

Plus with a PhD it’s like people think oh so you’re not a real doctor anyway or alternately that you know everything like google. It just causes a lot of confusion.

However I don’t want to discourage you from getting one if you want, it’s nice to have but I thinks there’s a lot of misperception of it.
