I had one done by a psyD too. But it was free through my job rehabilitation process. They also wrote out a whole 10 page report about me and who I was as a person.

The brush pens give a more expressive line which can be really fun.

Huh my psychologist's office says they do ASD and intelligence testing so I'll for sure ask when I have my next appointment!

I mean it seems more geared towards children, but I'll ask anyway.

I'll stop after this, but I did the ASD questionnaire on the autism Canada website and it says I scored High Risk of having ASD of some type. It's going to bug me until I ask my psych.

Anything with psychosis has asd spectrum traits to the point where you can’t have like sz and asd together because it’s a symptom of sz also.

I find it interesting all these tests that I've found all emphasize liking routine, obsessive behaviors, and other stuff like not liking social situations.

So like, is it social anxiety or is it something else? Is it just being obsessively, or something else?

Here I am overthinking things.

I woke up around 11am today. That’s like 2-3 hours earlier than I normally wake up. So I think I’m on the right track with getting my sleep schedule fixed. Eventually I’d like to be getting up around 8am.

If you do get an assessment, you will be asked about your developmental history. They are looking for things such as speech delay and repetitive behaviors.

During my assessment my mother was interviewed in person and had to fill out some questionnaires that were focused on childhood development.

I'm probably just overthinking things. AGAIN. I do it a lot. Especially lately...

Making shrimp sushi and garlic escargot for dinner. Meatless Good Friday. Went to one of the Asian markets and bought a bunch of stuff in addition to the sushi rice we needed. Essentials, and also some fun. Goat shoulder. And for snacks - spicy crispy fish skin and sweet & spicy fish jerky. Yummy.

Back to trying to study for a bit, and then time to make sushi.

I'm trying to let myself eat whatever I want from 12pm - 6pm and it's hard to let myself let go. I had a salad, then some fish skin, and a 3/4 pineapple jelly cup. But I just... can't help myself but count calories and obsess.

This thought pattern of ASD could just be my OCD kicking in obsessively thinking I have something I don't. I just don't know it's so frustrating.

Ok how would it help you to have that label....would it change your treatment? Would it change how you interact with others? Maybe read a book by temple grandin and see if you can relate?

Honestly people have outright told me I might be autistic but I don’t think I am because I can decode emotion. Try the seeing the mind in the eyes test. Also no professionals have said it. People often code different as ill or in this case neurodivergent.

I honestly don't know. It probably wouldn't change anything. I just... I hate not knowing things or having answers and obsessing about things I don't know. I like having nice little neat labels and clear answers for things. And when it's stuck on my mind I can't not think about it and feel it's going to change everything and answer all my questions.
