Any of you watch The Queen's Gambit? Chess and the burden of genius, phew, what a great mini series! I'm on a roll with great shows/movies lately. Wonder Woman, Wanda vision, Loki, Queens Gambit, see the pattern?

Yeah it's a great show, I watched it earlier this year, it's based on a book too

The only complaint I have in my new room is that I freeze if I turn the AC as high as it needs to be. But I know what it's like when it's too warm. In the other two beds.

Hi guys. Mom finally got discharged late last night. She has ataxia and vertigo. Vertigo I've had and I told my Dad to google head positions because there is a series of head positions you can do to help the vertigo go away if it is the BPPV kind. Which they didn't say what kind it was. As for the Ataxia, I'm not sure how that happened. She did have a stroke like 10 years ago so maybe something left over from that. I'm hoping it is just a one off because I was reading about it online and it sounds scary.

I spent a couple hours last night before I went to bed with my phone put away on the charger and my laptop closed and away. I just relaxed and read a bit. It was nice to take a step back from technology, Sometimes I feel like I get information overload from being connected to my phone and/or laptop all the time and it ends up causing stress

Wow, that's trippy. No she was perfectly healthy when she went to bed Thursday night. We had spent Monday at Disneyland and she was fine. Then when she woke up on Friday she was dizzy and unable to stand up. It just happened all the sudden-like.

I talked with my therapist about my phobia of leaving the house. So we're working on that. We're meeting in person for our next visit.

I neglected posting last week as I've been dealing with the loss of my dog and spending time with family and trying to self-soothe by binge watching fun movies. I'm doing a little better, trying to get back to my routine now, as much as I can since my dog was so much a part of my routine. I'm still in a lot of pain which I know is to be expected. My father and sister want me to go ahead and look for another dog to adopt but I'm not up to that right now.

My boss was cold shoulder hot tongue today. I hope it's not because of a complaint at the previous jobsite. It could have been... The owner of the place was nit-picking our crew quite severely. He tried to tell me how to mud drywall and I gave him a competent response and it ended with, "The problem is how do you tell a professional how to do his job." I was taken aback by this, so I disengaged and tried to be more positive around him. Then I overheard him make another big complaint about the entire crew.

I'll talk to my boss and we can work this out, whatever it is, it's fixable.

Have some blueberry cheesecake scented wax melting, smells great.

This week I'm going to work on getting outside/out of my apartment more since I have a phobia of it. So tomorrow I'm going grocery shopping and then taking a walk, Wednesday I'm taking a walk to the library, and Sunday I'm walking over to my friend's apartment building to hang out for awhile. If I can do all this I will be super proud of myself. I want to have something good to report during my next therapy appointment

What’s wax melting? Is it different with a scented candle?

There are wax warmers like this for example:
https://imagelive.scentsy.com/cmsima...x-standard.jpg

You plug them in to an outlet and they heat up scented wax cubes you can buy

I'm trying to get back to my routine this week (after losing my dog). I practiced my drawing yesterday and I will again today. I read (Zoe Sharp) and watched a movie (The Music Man) in the evening. But my dog has left such a hole in me I don't feel normal. I know it will take time and I'll give myself that time.

Hope everyone has a peaceful day.
