Good day today. Took stim sat on a boat and drank booze.

I feel good, I have a lot to look forward to the next several months

Walking to the movie theater tomorrow night to hopefully get tickets and see the new Halloween Kills movie. If for some reason we're not able to get tickets, (if you have to reserve online with a credit card or something, some theaters do that because of covid, neither of us has a card to do that with), then I'll just watch it via the subscription service my sister is signing me up for. Either way, we'll take a walk down there. It will be nice to be out at night, I never go out at night.

My boss acts very childish when he gets frustrated and takes it out on me. He's said things he shouldn't say. He even threw a tomato at me once in anger. Idk how to approach the situation. Yesterday he said something disrespectful in anger and then tried to pretend like nothing happened. I didn't talk or respond to him the rest of the day. I want to tell him that I don't appreciate the way he talks to me. I don't want him to think I'm just gonna go along with it and pretend it's all hunky dory bc it's not. Yesterday I was so angry.... Like livid... With the situation. It looped in my head all day and the rest of the night, I felt myself getting more and more mad. I knew I couldn't confront him without being rude about it so I didn't. But now he probably thinks it's all fine. I have serious doubts about his ability to be a leader.

I talked to my apartment case manager today, she said she signed everyone in the building up for a turkey basket. So I'll be getting a whole turkey I can cook and everything to make sides in November for Thanksgiving

My Case Manager is going to try to help me find a therapist. I sent him the front and back of my insurance card.


On the upside, I picked a name off the list from my insurance and have been in contact with the T. She verified that she does take my insurance and now she needs to check her availability for telehealth. She said if I don't hear from her today to text her tomorrow because she is very busy today. I don't know if that is a good sign. Like maybe she is forgetful. But if she is busy, that's good. Maybe she is a good T. I hope that we connect and that we click. She's not on psychology today so I can't check her out. I think she is an LCSW though.

We had bagels this morning at work and this afternoon at 2 o'clock break we are having ice cream!

I did get some work on my business done today though. So all was not lost. For all of those who are struggling, sending positive vibes your way

So I was walking home with my friend from the movie, and part way back he goes one way to go home and I go the other way to get to my apartment complex, I'm walking down my street and it's dark because it's after 9:30 pm, and I live in a rough neighborhood so I generally am never out at night, and these guys pull up beside me and are yelling at me trying to get me to stop, I don't even know what the hell they wanted but it freaks me out, like wtf, leave me alone, it just scares me.

I'm going to get pepper spray or something to have in my purse just in case I ever end up going out at night again (not that I likely will, it would probably be good to have anyway)

Anyway, the movie was wonderful and I had fun with my friend

Yeah he has his own anxiety issues and doesn't like walking down that street because of that very reason so I went alone, I texted him about it afterward and he said next time he would walk me to my apartment complex door. I think I'm going to get pepper spray to put in my purse just to have. Even when it's not dark out, it's not a great neighborhood and I'm almost always alone.

This is the best I can find, it has an alarm and this other thing, I checked out different pepper sprays but none of them will ship to my location for some reason, it's better than nothing I guess

Yeah I just checked, they can't legally ship pepper spray to New York, so alarms and whatnot are all you can use

I'm probably going to see another movie sometime in November, not sure what yet, depends what's out. Time to start counting down the days till the next Halloween movie (Halloween Ends), that comes out October 2022
