Do you guys have any suggestions as to how not to throw out medications in the future? I have a big problem with this. I know I need to talk about it with my therapist and doctor.

That makes a lot of sense…..

Yeah that's super smart, and I wish my mind worked more like that in the moments I throw them out.

I guess I should try to work on ways to counter impulsivity.

I used to flush my meds all the time. But it's actually really bad to flush medication cause it puts it in the sewer /water filtration system

Why do you flush them or get rid of of them ? Is there a specific reason

It's generally because I'm frustrated with the way things were going on Klonopin. This time I was just pissed about Klonopin because it seems to be impossible to get off. And then I just get frustrated about it. Luckily I didn't flush all my meds. It was just the Klonopin this time. But it's super problematic when I flush controlled substances like Klonopin. Cause then the doctor has to authorize an early refill. And then that looks bad on them. And on me. So I don't know. It's just a combination of things. And it's bad for the water system.

Oh, and not to mention it's terrible for my mental health to quit things like Klonopin cold turkey. I think I do this due to trauma though - it's a pattern I had that started my second psychotic episode which lasted for a pretty long time. That's why I mentioned that I should talk to my therapist about it.

And my second psychotic episdoe was by and large worse than my first. Just because I knew I could have prevented it by not going off my meds full stop.

I totally forgot I had meatballs in my freezer. What a nice surprise. I heated some up and put on some tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes and ate them like that

I am much better this morning. My pdoc prescribed Librium (chlordiazepoxide) for me which will be easier to get off than Klonopin.

I helped decorate the Easter eggs for my apartment buildings Easter egg hunt for the kids in the building (it was supposed to be last week but was rescheduled for today).

It’s a rainy/windy day again so they’re doing it indoors.

Good! The active metabolite of chlordiazepoxide is "desmethyldiazepam" and "oxazepam". Half life of many days.

The metabolites of Valium (Diazepam) are also desmethyldiazepam, oxazepam, and temazepam etc

I feel overwhelmed, kind of like I should not have accepted a translation project that is due tomorrow or the next day, kind of like I am not cut out for this kind of work. I hate deadlines.

Thanks it was a nice surprise because I thought the voting was done on the 5th of April so I had assumed I didn’t win but I guess they saved it for today during the Easter potluck meal thing

I bought 2 games with my gift card, one for PC and one for my Xbox One X, because there are some really good sales going on for digital video-games

I am better now - I think it was the excess of olanzapine causing this. I think 10 mg of it is enough.

Time to start the no sugary treats thing again. This time I'm going to try my best to stick with it, I can do it. I just need to make sure I get enough sleep every night, and stay focused. Not buy it or have it in the house. Fruit is fine. I'm going to try to go a year without sugary treats like ice cream, pastries, sugary drinks, candy, cookies , etc. See how that affects me, make it a lifestyle change

I'm craving pepperoni grilled cheese sandwiches, like a grilled cheese but with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, and maybe some garlic butter spread on the outside of the bread before grilling it in the pan

I'm sitting here at the table and my cat is in her carrying/travel case next to me, she loves laying in there, she's a weirdo

I am good, went for a walk outside, I don't know if traditional face-to-face therapy is helping me too much as of late, I just feel like talking it out with someone doesn't help all that much. I am better at writing anyway.
