Today? I ate properly (so far.) I'm on a vegetarian plan since finding out I didn't lose weight and felt sick when eating high animal protein diet. (Sure hope this isn't a permanent thing though, I do enjoy my prime rib from time to time...or is it the horseradish?)

I'm also finally working on deciding about which dog food is best for Caleb. The one I had him on isn't being carried locally any more.

Y'all tc of yourselves!

Hey good thread, I too have some issues with a positive outlook on life and I find myself falling back into negative view a lot.

Today I messaged an old friend to get back in touch with him after 6 months. I gave advice to a good friend of mine who is always there for me, and listening to my problems. I'm not sure if it was the best advice but it made me feel better knowing I had made an effort.

Also I got down 2 chapters for a story I'm working on, and drew a nice picture.

Good going, guys!!!!!

Today I helped my husband "winterize" the house, moving outdoor furniture under the house etc, instead of letting him do the work himself!

I'm sorry you were ignored.

I did right today was help someone on the computer with a virus from facebook.
And I walked the dogs and I did some sit-ups.

I took a long walk and tried to cheer myself up with vanilla coffee & a visit to a bookstore. Did the dishes and cooked some spinach with butter and onions. I tossed a toy for the cat. She was jazzed about that 'till she got tired.

I did the dishes -well, I've been keeping up with dishes for over a month now and love love love it. Doing the dishes is something I really don't enjoy much, so it has been a very constant "do it, do it now" attitude for me.

Yesterday I finished planting all but 2 potted plants in the shade area of the yard! I only have the lilytuft to dig up from the side yard and plant on the lowest and steepest part of the old ivy hill. At least in the shady area.

Still have all the sunny area to plant with those day lilies and iris and others who have lived in their pots for up to 2 years. They really want and need their permanent home this week.

Today, or well last night at some random hour, I deleted my ex's number, and was able to exercise some self-control before I sent him a text, which had no purpose, and would probably just blow up in my face if he responded. So I saved myself from making a big mistake.

I, also, helped my guy friend with this girl he's trying to ask out, and kept the conversation 99% about him (which can be a chore for me), to practice being more sensitive to others and such.

I got up this morning at 7:30am despite haven fallen asleep only 5 hours before.

I wrote another chapter. Drew another picture.

Wow! You guys are doing a lot of "do-rights"!!! That's great!!!

I went for a run this morning in a beautiful location. The weather was gorgeous and the sun was catching the golden yellow of the Aspen trees along the river in a way that made them sparkle. It felt good to be alive!!!!!!!

That's great! (not that you have mild asthma, but that you went and got a diagnosis and you're now on a med that will help!) Really hope you feel better soon!

I did a few rights today

First, hum? Oh, yeah, I vaccumed (spelling???) the basement level of the house. It was sooooooooooooo overdue. In the bathroom I use most often, loose hairs were sticking to the adhesive sticky stuff left over from the bandage I had just taken off of my big toe! Hopefully it won't today after my shower!

I made a huge pot (had to use my 2 biggest pots actually) of chili! Yummy, hot and spicy. Now I have tons for freezing and using as needed.

Next I'm going outdoor to plant more lilies and irir since it is so darn wonderful out there today. I'm getting to the end of my planting finally. Still have about 3 more days worth of hard work ahead of me though.

3 cheers for all of our do rights gang!
Thanks for this!

The day isn't over yet and I have a feeling that just by posting your frustration, you will feel better and do one little Right.

Repeat after me:

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

ouch, hope your head isn't hurting. That would be the first thing to do, stop being so hard on yourself. LOL.

Today I helped my friend cheer up his friend. I put my brother on the bus to go to school, I did another chapter.. I visited my friend who I haven't seen in 2 months and for the first time in my life watched a scary movie. I don't know how "good" that is but it was a big step for me, as I hate scary movies!

I know this sounds silly, but I once joined a group years ago to help organize yourself and clean your home in steps, instead of an entire day.... and one thing I remember is to "always clean your kitchen sink before you go to bed." It makes you feel better in the morning knowing that you're starting from a clean slate. That made me feel good this morning.

I also made a really good breakfast for myself, and I started a load of laundry before I left for work, and I also cleaned my family room. I start to feel a little better about myself when I do small improvements in my home to make me less stressed out on the weekends. Tomorrow, I tackle another room, and by the time the weekend comes around, I don't have to clean

That's awesome you guys!!

((((MissingMyOldSelf))))) I love the idea of tacking a room each day during the week so that when the weekend comes you don't have to do the whole lot! I always tend to leave cleaning to the weekend and it always feels like too much!! So thanks for that tip! And well done!

My do-right today: I organized part of my desk at work so it looks and feels less chaotic. Then I cranked through a lot of stuff and I feel more on top of things at work and less overwhelmed than I did.
Thanks for this!

Been up since 4:30am because my body is just waking up this early lately. I made coffee, and printed out some Morning Glory Muffin recipes so I can finally make them today.

It is now time for a second cup and a bit of TV news before I hit the kitchen and then the yard again today, nearly done planting the one section of landscaping near the driveway. And my body is so ready to have freezing weather so I can stop working out there.
Thanks for this!

I decided my hands and back couldn't take the gardening today, so took the day off.

Well, I did make the muffins, but I tweaked the recipe to make it healthier and boy oh boy, I really enjoyed eatting that warm muffin fresh from the oven

My kitchen mess is also cleaned up and ready for making another "mess" tomorrow. I'm going to make key lime cookies. Trying to make healthy choices so we have something yummy in the house. It's cheaper for one and I can tweak the recipes to make them less fatty and use Splenda for the sweetener!
Thanks for this!
