Despite it taking a long time, remained fairly calm and relatively patient trying to restore my pictures when all of them disappeared from the computer. Just had to keep reminding myself that I figured it out once before (but didn't write it down) and eventually would stumble upon it again.

Oh yeah, and did NOT forget to write the solution down this time!

I had an important realization - the presence of my sense of humor (satire, irony, etc.) means that I am not psychotic.

I made plans to reconnect with the relatives on my paternal side, who live abroad.

To-day I finally did the dishes, which had been piling up quite high, all over....feels good to finally have done something about it!

it was yesterday- but I told s/o a phrase he started using, was triggering me and asked if he could refrain from using it... sorry but "i will leave you now" doesn't sound good to say to someone going through a hard time... and he cares enough that he understands and will try not to say it again. sorry if this is me being "controlling" and meunable to adapt, but i just don't need the message over and over again of "I will leave you"

Exercised and did yoga stretches instead of letting my fears and distress overwhelm me.

Registered my VISA card for online access - for some reason they dropped me, months ago, and I had to call their phone line to check the balance and payments due. Finally did the right thing.

i don't know what i did right today. as the old saying goes no good deed shall go unpunished. i've helped my friends in the past and now when i ask them for their number they ask me why do you need it? i hate when people take advantage of me. I want to be treated as a human being.

Helped my sister redecorate her daughter's (my niece) room for her 13th birthday. It will be a surprise when my niece sees it tomorrow ... it looks beautiful and we had fun.

I have made an appointment to get the following adult immunizations:

DTAP booster
HepA+HepB combined
Gardasil, off label since I am over 26, but some protection is better than none.

And I found a nurse practitioner who administers vaccinations off-label.

I sprinkled bug granules around the house. It's too hot and humid to do much more. I'll have to wait until this evening.

I guess, today, the thing I did right, was I got accepted into the supported housing program at Easthouse Corporation....I currently live in a condominium my father purchased for me, but his oh-so-lovely wife convinced him to sell it..in order to afford rent, I applied to this mental health agency...they pay 2/3 of the rent!!

I visited an old married couple - my friends. I met then when I was 11 and I am now 42.

She is 90 and he is 93 or 94. They have been together for over 50 years.

They are in good spirits! Knock on wood.

I feel really blessed.

And the books I gave them as gifts did interest them... so I am glad.
Thanks for this!

I got up early and went to the gym. I only did a 15-minute workout, but it was better than not working out at all today, plus I really enjoyed taking a hot shower at the gym. Proud that I pushed myself. I "normally" would have made the excuse that I couldn't workout because my meeting was too early.

I managed to get up early. I have messed up my circadian rhythm recently, so now I have to correct it. But it's so hard not to stay up late...
