As the title asks...
As to me, Pokemon Go! Also, Game of War but I quit because it was making me manic, big time. What about you ? |

I actually don't know, they just seem to come.on, maybe stressful situations would be one trigger.

I guess stress?
Sometimes a lack of sleep will do it too, but not always. Maybe it's a chicken and egg problem? Also, any dose of Adderall. A high enough dose of Lexapro. |

Stress and lack of sleep as mentioned above. Sleep is very important for me, if I stay up all night I will become hypo. And antipsychotics like geodon, abilify and anti-depressants. Lol this is why I have trouble with meds.

Usually stress and lack of sleep. Although sometimes it shows up on its own.

Stress, for sure. It's the worst. Especially when something stressful is going on and I'm in limbo, like waiting for whatever it's going to take to end the stress. But it's weird. I'm Bipolar II with mixed states. So the stress can depress me, I start beating myself up for not being "normal" and just living life and not obsessing over the stress, I think that's always the initial reaction. THEN to get out of the depression I will either mix in some hypomanic tendencies, or I'll go full-on hypomanic. So, I think waiting is what triggers me. Waiting for a resolution to a problem, waiting on a phone call with news or an update, waiting for someone to show up. So, waiting=stress. Stress=hypomania and mixed states.

Like everyone already said; stress, lack of sleep, leads to trouble for me.

When I go through different lifestyle changes where it takes some adjusting, this often leads to hypomania. Also, sometimes "positive" stressors will bring on the symptoms. Lack of sleep is a big factor too.

I started Prozac last Thursday and it put me straight into a mixed state. So yeh, that and stress.

Thanks everyone. I realized I had a bunch of stressful stuff hit me at once and that did it. Will call pdoc if I start heading toward mania and psychosis. Im very distracted, thinking multiple things at once. Probably won't post until I stabilize ... I can't focus atm. I'll read posts for now.
Anyone else able to reply to my thread on how you track your moods...that would help me. Thanks to Miguel's Mom for the reply. I'm hoping more of you will reply. I need help in this area. I read MM's post but have no idea what Google Play even is....so please support me and reply. Even a "I just guess" helps me. The post where a bunch of you put percentages next to mood state. Thanks. |

Bad stress will throw me into a bad hypo trip where I'm mad and doing things in a mad mood. I recognize it when it's coming on but can't always get ahead of it to keep from upsetting my family. I'm aware of it enough to to say hey....I'm in a mood and I gotta let it run its course; need 20 minutes.

It's very hard for me to know most of the time but I do know that especially when I was working too much responsibility (or my feeling too much responsibility since I take on plenty that isn't mine) will trigger hypomania. Mostly I just get mixed and the triggers can be anything, even good things, I think. But I am not very good with insight on this.

I used to think it was mostly lack of sleep, but after this weekend I don't know what comes first. The lack of sleep or does the episode cause the lack of sleep. It has been a weird weekend. Went from good to bad so fast my head is still spinning.

That's a hard question to answer for me. Stress coupled with lack of sleep usually leads to depression or mixed for me. Largely because if I'm stressed, it's over something I blame myself for.
I tend to get hypo if I start to have energy because then I start making insane goals for myself. Lack of sleep does come into play because I think not sleeping will give me more time to work on those goals. But I'm not really sure that answers your question. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk |

Thank you! I apologize for the delayed reply. This system is working for me except I make notes in a regular notebook throughout my day. I have a med I take every four hours so I just "check in" during those times. I also like the physical aspect of using a pen and paper. Old school lol. xo |
