Diet crashed since i have been IP. could be the meds or change of scenery but i have been eating a lot of sugar....Sign. Will try to start again tomorrow.

They're by quest nutrition. They're made with whey protein. They taste like baked potato chips lol. They're definitely not as good as real potato chips but they're a decent stand in.

I took a break from my diet for a little while. Mentally I just needed a break. I was barely losing weight. So I think I'm gonna go gentle on my diet for right now. I'm definitely getting back on today but I'm not going to weigh myself for awhile. The scale was driving me nuts. So I'm going to continue low carb because I don't want to gain all my weight back but I'm not going to be as restrictive. I'm just gonna try to live my life and if I don't lose any more weight then so be it. My birthday is coming up and I'm definitely going to have some red velvet cake or cheesecake. I have a beer festival on Friday. Then on April 8 we're going into the city for my birthday. Then after that is Easter. So I'm going to do my best for the next three weeks but not be so hard on myself if I go off track.

I do want to stay on low carb also for my pre diabetes. So I will. Making some meatloaf (no breadcrumbs) and some egg muffins for breakfast this week. Gotta plan my dinner for the week too!

I bought tmfour pairs of size 16 pAnts (at goodwill so they were cheap at least) and only one pair fits. At this point the 18s are too loose around my legs but my stomach is so big that's all I fit into. So depressing. I was hoping to find some pants that fit me better so I can feel better about how I look but I guess that's not gonna happen. Even though I lost weight I didn't lose any inches in my stomach. Sigh. I hate exercising but I guess I'm gonna have to try.

My scale is growling at me. I haven't been on it since November & I know it won't give me good news. I can tell by my pants & how they fit.
Next wk I have to go to a party. Ugh. Hate being in public. Guess it's elastic waist pants again

Today is a new day. eat more protein at night that will help you feel fuller longer. then snack on some almonds or crunchy cut up veggies. drink a glass of milk or a cup of hot tea.

Weighed in this morning and I'm down 3 lbs, I'm sure that's from having pneumonia for almost 2 weeks though. Back to gym this morning and brought healthy food for work today. Banana, Apple, string cheese and cliff bar. Spaghetti is planned for supper and I will have a small portion.

Too sick to eat anything but soup for the past couple months. An occasional solid meal but it just makes me sicker. Need to get back to eating well like I used to but been too sick and hubby doesn't cook. We've decided that our plan is to ALL learn to cook. I've been teaching my kids how for a few years but they can never remember how unless I'm there to instruct so I imagine it's all going to take some time before I can expect meals to be made when I'm too sick to participate. We've all been living on convenience foods for a few years and my health is declining. I just need to hit the lotto so I can hire a professional cook. I plan to make some homemade soup as the sodium content in the soup I'm eating has me so swollen. Improving my and my families diet is one of my top priorities right now.

I forgot we were having birthday snacks at work today. Had hummus and veggies, then a piece of chocolate cake. Then hubby and I decided to go out for beers and food. Diet shot for today....major fail

IP and on Zyprexa so I am eating heaps of sweets and carbs. Put on weight...sigh. Going to ask my doctor to change me to a weight neutral med that lets me sleep.

Had lamb for lunch it was very good! with chard, squash, and beets. delicious!

A Jamba Juice Apples & Greens, 3 chicken strips and lots of water. Not enough food but I'm sick so was lucky to get it down. It was my first time at Jamba Juice and hubby, my kids and I all agreed that my smoothies are much tastier, fresher and they are healthier overall too so I need to bust out the Nutribullet and take advantage of all the lovely fruits and veggies at my local grocery store. I did feel better when I was drinking them daily and need to get back to it. I quit smoking next week so my diet will need to be flawless.

Put on 2kg (4-5lbs) in the last week due to Olanzapine and or Sodium Vaproate and sugar and fat cravings, plus no exercise. Sigh...

Told my pdoc no more Olanzapine so he is temporarily putting me on 100mg Seroquel as a PrN for sleep, agitation. He also gave me leave so I can go for long walks. So today I walked for an hour at a brisk pace. It is the night munchies I have to target next. I hate meds. i want off this ride.

I haven't been doing as good diet wise and only made it to the gym twice this week...my friend that I work out with put me through the wringer yesterday, I'm super sore, no pain no gain though. Next week I'll go 5 days and do better at tracking my calories on my fitness pal. I was down 3 lbs though when I weighed myself on Tuesday, but I think that was from being sick.
