Nice job, Fharriage. What were your leftovers?

---

I stuck to today's diet plan to a T! I made the protein shake using milk and thickened it with xanthan gum. I also ate some steamed green beans with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Delish!

Trying not to give in to this hunger. Major, major carb cravings, esp sugar.. I'm determined not to give in!

blue since you are a vegitarian for the most part they suggest you eat many times thru out the day like every 3 hours.
Do you not like almonds? they are so good for you and filling and high fiber. some protein.
avocados are a good option.
YOu can cut them in half and just eat them with a spoon right in the shell.

Ah. I've been eating breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and that's it. Nothing after 2-3pm, with the exception of today where I ate green beans at 4.

I don't like almonds -- no

Never had avocados, but I was thinking about trying one someday. My sister loves them and gets them to make guacamole.

I might take in extra protein just to reduce hunger. This Seroquel originally got rid of my appetite, but now my appetite is back in full force. I can see why people easily gain weight on this stuff. The hunger pangs are insane. Like right now my stomach is in pain!

Edit: fasting for 3 hours has gotten rid of my hunger! Yeah! Maybe I should fast more often

We celebrated valentines day early and went out to eat at a place called Marcellos wine and cafe. You feel like you are seated in a wine cellar, very nice and cozy.
We were a bit early and did not have to wait that long to be seated.
Our servers name was christine, she was very friendly and talkative and steered us in the right direction food wise.I saw this wonderful looking fish being served as we were seated and asked her about it and she said it is the red fish and I will run to the back and see if they have any left.
We knew that we wanted the mussels sauteed in this fabulous tomato garlic sauce. Used the bread to sop up that glorious broth. Artichoke hearts on a bed of arugula. My red fish had a lovely mushroom caper butter sauce and fresh asparagus on it that was wonderful. Jeff had a seafood pasta dish that he loved and brought home half of it for tomorrow.
Our food was delicious.

So one beer and 2 slices of garlic bread won't bust my low carb diet. Everything else was low carb.

I ate good today.

Advo nutrition bar
Two veggie dogs, no bun, with mustard
Apple
Small piece of vegan meat loaf (very good, made with lentils, oat flour, and veggies)
Small piece of dark chocolate

Good day!

Oats, berries, chia, sunflower seeds, yogurt and maple syrup for breakfast. Protein powder and vitamin powder mixed with rice mild for lunch and salmon and veggies for dinner. Good day for me. i usually skip lunch but am trying to eat more protein as I am toning up my muscles. Oh, and two or so beers (it is only 5.20pm and I haven't finished drinking. I tend to drink 3 beers a day and more if socialising). Know I shouldn't drink so much and everyday but I have a strong desire for that warm fuzzy feeling and have given up illegal drugs. It is in my nature to need a vice or two.

Despite a good exercise regime and diet I have not lost weight for a month. In fact I have put on weight. Hoping it is muscle. My arms, legs and stomach are more toned. Getting close to where I want to be. Just hard to get the flab off my upper arms and stomach. Guess it is so much improved on how I looked six months ago. The important thing is I feel fitter and healthier.

Thanks Bizi for starting this thread. It has really helped keep me motivated and I am getting closer to my goal.

Ate a bagel with butter for breakfast (I was in a rush). Morning snack will be an apple. For lunch, leftover pasta with red sauce. Snack will be protein shake

Looks like a repeat of yesterday! Only difference is the apple in place of the Jell-O, really. Though I might do yogurt instead.

Weighed in a Weight Watchers yesterday and lost 2.6 lbs, so I was pretty happy about that.
I've discovered how satisfying a cup of chicken/beef/veggie hot broth can be. I feel like I am getting something good, but it's just broth

Breakfast: Pumpkin pancakes with agave maple syrup and half a slice of ham
Lunch: a burger (I know, I shouldn't have that)
Dinner: Cornish game hen and mixed vegetables.

Blood sugar has been staying normal, so I hope the burger didn't mess things up.

Only ate a bagel, granola bar, and leftover pasta

I'm not going to eat anymore, though, because I have to get a blood test tomorrow morning.

So today was a fail. Insufficient number of cals

I was kind of down today and had the idea to eat fast food to comfort myself. But then I went to therapy and felt better so I had a salad. I did allow myself to eat the roll that came with it though as a tiny cheat. So, about 50 carbs today instead of my usual 20-25. Still not as bad as if I had eaten the fast food.

I'm so happy! I'm thrilled to be dieting again. Today is Day Four. It's going so well! I'm back with my protein drink and limiting cola. I allow two a day, down from about five pre-diet, and today i only had one! I read about people taking preventative Imodium and i've tried that today and it seems to be working. Here's to a great future!

Has anyone caught the story about Chrissy Metz, the extremely-plus-size actress on "This is Us"? She got the cover of People magazine. It's encouraging to see the mainstream media embracing size acceptance. I'm keen on getting down to a healthy weight but it's nice to have this supportive story so i don't hate myself for being fat while i'm going thru the process.

Tara, congrats on resisting the fast food and opting for a salad. Everytime we resist temptation it gets easier to do the next time.

No breakfast because I have to get a blood test! (Damn). For lunch, I'm going out with a freidn and getting chicken tacos. First meat in 1.5 months? Probably going to have only two tacos and some rice. Protein shake for snack. Probably leftover pasta for dinner.

Somehow I'm losing weight on Seroquel. I thought it was a weight gainer? Maybe I'm just a freak. Lol

My pdoc told me the best way to lose weight on ap's is to fast for two days a week. He talked to me for an hour and a half about metabolic processes and chemical compositions of what drugs attached to weight gaining receptors. Vistaril and Seroquel are high. So I stopped those. Today is the first day of my fast; bone soup, broth, black coffee, water. I hope I can do it. He says I'll be super energized by the afternoon of the second day. I have also started lifting weights at the gym.

How come you have to wait until April to get weighed? Or are you trying not to weigh yourself too often?
