@Wander: Sorry you're struggling so much I know what you mean about anxiety interfering with your hunger levels. It's the same case for me too when I get anxious.
----

Ate a CLIF energy bar. Was really good.

I ordered the protein powder that Moose bought, except I got the cookies and creme one. I probably won't have much time to try it out (i.e., trying mixing it with different things), but I have at least a few days.

I'm not hungry (I think because I stayed up all night), but I'm going to try eating lunch anyway. I'm thinking grilled cheese!

I love grilled cheese too! I had some for lunch even tho I wasn't hungry

My pdoc says I'm hypo and that's why I stayed up all night. I think it's the Europe trip that's stressing me out!

He wants me to take Seroquel, but that'll make me gain like 100lbs!

I know its more calories, but I mix mine with whole milk. It tastes better than skim or water. Maybe I will change my mind and switch to water if I don't see the pounds coming off.

I had a feeling that milk would taste better. Milk also has nutritional value, so I'll probably try with milk then.

I kinda like my shakes thick tho. Might add some cottage cheese on top of the milk.

What else do you normally eat with your protein shake? Or is the shake a meal replacement?

I just have a shake during the day as many as I'm hungry for then a meal at night.

Since I started a stressful new job a month ago have been eating more junky food. Today stocked up on fresh veggies to eat the next three days to detox then start diet anew. Also going to drink lemon water. Junky food is full of chemicals and salt and causes water retention. Can't wait to detox but am eating cake as I write this. :{

Lunch: Two veggie dogs (no bun) with mustard, strawberries
Dinner: A garbanzo bean/veggie omelette, an orange

Oh, I haven't been adding liquids to my list because I just drink black coffee and have a diet mountain dew once in awhile (I know the mountain dew is bad!). I hate water. This is why I'm trying to eat more juicy fruits so I can get some fluids.

Going to the gym in an hour!

Raspberry, what time is it where you are? In an hour, I'm going to pick up my daughter then go home to bed.

Have you ever cooked with lentils?
they are high protein and high fiber. You could make a really good spinach and lentil soup using low sodium chicken stock and cut up a carrot.
The lentils cook up under a half an hour and then the soup is ready to go. One way to get more fluids in you is to have soup.

I did the ketogenic diet from mid August to mid December 2016 and managed to get out of prediabetic range. I felt good. But the diet is difficult because it severely limits carbs and there is Zero sugar.

I have been junking out for the past month. I feel awful. A clean diet is a discipline to follow but the benefits are so great it is a no brainer to just do it. I missed pasta and bread, for sure, but I felt much better. Refined carbs are not good for anyone, really.

Nine.

We go after my husband gets done with work.

It's great. No one is at the gym!

That's a good idea bizi!

We have lentils. My husband makes this really good vegan "meat" loaf with lentils and vegetables.

Soup is a good idea. Spinach and lentil soup sounds tasty.

164.2 this am down 5 pounds in 2 weeks!

I use sweet leaf liquid toffee flavored. I just started adding it to vodka, tastes kind of like my favorite liquor drambuie with out the carbs!

@bizi: nice work! Glad you found something that tastes good but doesn't have all the carbs

--

Eating a CLIF bar. Not too hungry.

Not sure what I'm going to have for lunch today. I'm guessing some kind of sandwich -- maybe grilled cheese again? And I'm thinking with sour cream & onion chips. I'm not feeling too creative today in that department.

I've lost 2lbs. Getting anxious about that trip...

Great job, bizi!

I stepped on the scale last night (gym scale, so hoping it's accurate), and I'm down to 122! Pound from goal weight. Yea!

I've been sick for a couple of days. stomach issues. I haven't thrown up but I'm nauseous every time I eat and the nausea lasts for hours. I stayed home from work today and slept from 8:30 to 1:30. I just had a light lunch (string cheese and honey ham and a couple of pickles) and I don't feel good again. I'm not sure what I'll do for dinner. I don't know if carbs like saltines will settle my stomach. I can't take off again tomorrow so I hope I feel better.

Was supposed to go to ladies night out on Friday and was considering cheating bc they were all going to get pizza but now I have no one to watch my son so I can't go. Better for me for sure. Now I can stick to my diet (assuming I'm not nauseous anymore).

Haven't weighed in because I don't want to freak out about the scale. Weigh in is Saturday. Hoping for another pound or two down. We will see!
