We had dinner with some friends at a tourist attraction cajun dance hall.
ended up having some fish and sausage over cabbage and one fried onion ring and a crab ball of sorts. Food was pretty good. Had a remulaud sauce drizzled on it.
Hubby and I split it. He also had a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo, he said his was very good. Jeff had a double whiskey. OUr bill with tax and tip was $55. Glad we split a meal!
and I ate twice. Was not hungry but felt obliged to eat. and did not eat healthy nor stay on my diet. But Jeff and I danced a bit so that was good!

I've almost lost the three pounds I gained. But I definitely don't want to cheat anymore. I will probably be the same weight on Saturday that I was last week. All for pizza and sugar. I'm gonna stay on track this weekend. Although I am going to have my Sauvignon blanc on Saturday. I just can't seem to give up the wine lol. But oh well. I hope if I stay under carbs even with the wine I won't gain too much.

My lunch: a steak salad with romaine, hard boiled egg, and ranch dressing - yum. Dinner: borscht, eggs and bacon (like breakfast, I know, but I could not think of anything else and had to eat something to absorb my Geodon) with chives, and a little chocolate yogurt for dessert (yum, also).

The only med I stopped taking was trileptal. I'm still on the other ones, and I don't plan on going off them ever. I don't want to go crazy and lose my family again.

I managed to eat some oatmeal about 2 hours ago, but I was really out of it.

I think my blood pressure has dropped from Seroquel XR because I've been drinking a lot of water, yet I feel dizzy and unbalanced/uncoordinated. I just couldn't eat anymore, either.... I've also got some insomnia now, even though it's only my 2nd day on this drug. It just seems activating.

It's so weird that I have the opposite side effects... lack of appetite, not sleepy, etc.. I don't get it. I'm going to contact my pdoc about this.

side effects suck when trying out a new medication. Hope you feel better soon. Drinking plenty of water really is good foryou, please don't doubt that.

I've decided I'll wait about a week in case the symptoms eventually subside.

For brunch, I had a bagel and oatmeal... bagel at 7, oatmeal at 10:30. (Had to force it.) Also had 2 lemon cookies. (Forced that as well.) For dinner, I'm going to have a cookies & creme protein shake. Huzzah!

Breakfast: Homemade egg croissant sandwich
Lunch: Bowl of Cheerios (I wasn't too hungry)
Dinner: Baked Chicken Chimichangas

Blood sugar was up, I think because of the croissant.

I had the fiesta lime chicken at Applebee's today. Even without the rice and tortilla strips the internet said 28 carbs but I knew that was impossible. it was just chicken, ranch, and cheese. When I entered everything separately it came to 7 carbs, approximately. So that's good. Although now I'm remembering I forgot to add the lime juice. That will take me up to about 35 carbs today. Oh well still better.

I need to go back to cooking. I've had a couple of lazy weeks where I haven't cooked anything and I'm getting really sick of my quick low carb meals. I need to make actual recipes. I think I'm gonna make low carb broccoli cheddar soup tomorrow. And Sunday I'm going to make my green chile chicken casserole. I'll figure out the rest of the week later.

Hi all! I'm back to join you again. My eating is out of control and my belly is all stuck out. It's disgusting. My pattern of restricting and then indulging does worry me a bit. But what can i do but try again? Also, it's hard to get out to the grocery store in this cold Winter weather. That'll be an obstacle. But i just can't bear to continue like this any longer. I ate a whole pizza today. It was just a small, but even so. I remember how proud of myself i was when i went on my year-long diet and lost 65 pounds. I want to feel like that again!

Lunch: half a burrito and a thin slice of red velvet cake at my "graduation" from the IOP, which was very touching.

Later in the day: half a PB sandwich and a glass of milk.

Dinner: 2 eggs and bacon, my goto meal when I do not know what to cook/eat.

Tired now. Still need to drink lots of tea.

Am seeing a client out of town tomorrow morning(hopefully)
then gumbo at a new restaurant to us "soops" in maurice about a 15 minute drive, they should be open for lunch on a saturday, if not then we will go to our regular place chris's po boys. They have delicious gumbo!
Then I get my hair colored and cut at 1, that usually takes 2-3 hours.
At 7 we are going to see a tribute to marvin gaye down town. Jeff is cynical, I am hopeful that it will be good.

My pdoc just spent an hour and a half explaining how to lose weight when on ap's. He went on and on about metabolic processes, diabetes and chemicals of drugs and which receptors triggered weight gain. Seroquel abd Vistaril for sure. He said to fast two whole days out of the week and eat nothing but drink water, coffee, tea and bone soup. Then on other days eat one huge meal of leafy greens and proteins. Do NOT eat 6 small meals a day. That is a mistake he said. So I'm going to try this next week.

I think I'm NOT going to eat anything today. My sister came home from college with some kind of s.hit that's making her throw up blood and bile.

She's sleeping downstairs and she was in the kitchen. I don't want that disease!! She touched everything! It needs to be decontaminated!

I do have some protein shake stuff in my room that I could drink, however.

I've heard there's a 72-hour rule whereby germs disappear within 72 hours. So I'm probably not going to eat anything for 72 hours unless I go out for food! But roads are slick from snow, so I'm not going out today.

Aww blue you have to eat SOMETHING! I hope you figure something out. At the very least the protein powder. You can't not eat for three days.

I am 199 this morning, but I plan on drinking some wine tonight so that will probably go up tomorrow. But I don't plan on cheating on carbs so hopefully it won't go up too much and I can flush out the water weight from the alcohol pretty quickly. I already have my day planned out. And I don't have any cheat foods in the house so I won't be able to stuff my face on carbs once I'm a little tipsy lol. I can do this! 13 pounds down!
