Ordered pizza for dinner. Feeling guilty for spending the money. But what's done is done. And I had a salad- antipasto. I so want some of the pizza, but I'm going to be good and skip it. Having water to drink, too.

I need to join this. I've been diagnosed with diabetes and need to change my diet.

I had oatmeal and a half-slice of ham for breakfast, homemade BBQ chicken wings for lunch. My husband is making roast chicken and and a veggie of some sort. I want peas but they're too high in carbs.

I also need to change my snacks (cheese sticks and nuts) because they're too high in fat.

I need enough calories for breakfast so my Latuda will work.

almond nuts are the good kind of fat! so are avocados.
what about snacking on sunflower seeds?

I stayed on track today even in the face of a new year appreciation luncheon thrown by my bosses. I stuck to roasted chicken, green beans, and salad. Didn't even go down to the dessert table. I got this! My son wants to go to Texas Roadhouse tomorrow and it will be hard saying no to that delicious bread and honey butter but it will be worth it in the end, I hope.

Good for you for not going to the dessert table!

Whenever I go to things like that the first thing I go to is the dessert table. I can't say no to desserts. I have a dessert problem!

Today I had two veggie dogs (no bun), black bean stir fry with peanut sauce, an apple, and a few handfuls of popcorn.

The popcorn was sort of a fail, but I'm happy to say I didn't completely pig out. I couldn't help it. My daughter wanted to go to movie night at her school, but I couldn't handle the thought of sitting in an enclosed auditorium for an hour and a half. I would have had a panic attack! So I told her I'd make her popcorn while we watched our cartoons tonight, and she was happy.

I also had rice with the stir fry, so another fail since I'm trying to avoid stuff like that.

Overall today was a fail. Not happy with myself.

carbs????????looks like 100grams of sesame sticks is 43 carbs.

so not too out of the ball park. I think it was under 100 carbs for the day.

@bizi: wow, I never would've guessed that sesame sticks have that many carbs!

Interesting day...

Breakfast: yogurt, slice of toast w/ margarine

Lunch: tofu tacos! 3 of them. And anout 8-9 cheese pizza rolls in the microwave (probably a bad decision).

165.7...over endulged wednesday night at whole foods steak night.
Baked potato with extra butter and sour cream. Chunky garlic bread.
Oh so many carbs and oh so much joy! I have left over steak to eat, perhaps for dinner tonight. Tonight is at whole foods again for trivia. I also have some left over pork to eat, I could have that for lunch. I could eat the protein then go to sandras for veggies.
Not sure what I am going to do but I need to eat these left overs.
Last night:
I forced myself to shower...almost screamed to get in the f**king shower.
exfoliated dead skin cells on my chest and neck using my finger nails. some times pain feels good. I was looking like a red neck for quite a while.
It had been almost 2 weeks that I had showered, 5 days since a shampoo at the beauty school after my color.
I discovered a raw hole at my butt crack...probably from not showering.

Sorry, I should have not called it a hole. It is a raw area. Hubby said he could not see anything. If i could wrap my head around myself then I could see it. I feel it. It is small, still sensitive today so I know something is a miss.

I ate left over steak for lunch today. 0 carbs.
Will have left over pork stew for dinner.
Saving my carbs for one 30 carb glass of my favorite beer.

Ohh, that's good it's not a hole!

I once watched the show "Botched! By Nature" and one of the patients on the show literally had a hole in her bum crack. It's because she was a conjoined twin at the bum. (Twin did not survive.) Dr. Terry Dubrow had to surgically fix it.

Idk. Tv has some weird sh#t. Idk why I watch these things. lol

I went out for "Friday Lunch" today with my friends. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a small "thing" of applesauce on the side with a diet Pepsi. Then I had some coffee with a piece of rhubarb pie. (I skipped 85% of the crust.) I'm supposed to be going slow on carbs per my primary doc. That's actually more carbs than I've had in a while.

Breakfast was Cheerios with a few raspberries and two sausage patties.
Lunch was a Wendy's single burger. I don't pass them up and I probably should.
Dinner is Asian Steak Wraps. I may add some veggies to mine.

My doc will weigh me in a couple of weeks so I'll wait until then.

IBS has been acting up lately. Been going to the bathroom a lot

I ate 2 eggo wqffles for breakfast, large fry at Burger King and sm vanilla shake, and for dinner I had a CLIF bar and garlic shells.

I ate a lot today! Trying to compensate for the rapid weight loss brought on by my IBS. This happens sometimes...

But damn, I need to be mindful of my cholesterol!! I'm gonna be eating like total crap once I get to Europe. I'll be living off granola bars. lol
