I believe You are not eating enough, your body will go into starvation mode.

Yesterday I actually ate normally. Banana, protein and vitamin powder smoothie for breakfast, sausage and veggies for lunch and veal schnitzel with veggies for dinner. I even had ice cream for a snack. Not eating much so far today though. Skipping lunch but I plan a decent dinner. Working on eating more, especially protein. Just not hungry. Think it's the Ritalin.

Dinner: borscht with kefir cheese and a cup of kefir. Not hungry for more, but I snacked all day long (I had to skip lunch due to a meeting): PB sandwiches, yogurts, a cheese sandwich, tea.

will drink hibiscus tea and go to bed now. Everything can wait until tomorrow.

I remember the apple cider vinegar fad of the late 80s - early 90s. I think it has made a comeback. According to the only published study on the subject matter, it is not worth the hassle:

I was just drinking it straight. It really helped suppress my appetite! It's my new love. I recommend it. I don't care whether or not it makes you lose weight quicker! I just care I didn't feel like I was starving all day.

Yeah, it's especially bad when the free food is sooo unhealthy. I'm trying to gain weight, but not that way! (The only free healthy food we have are peanuts and apples, and I don't do peanuts... but who wants an apple when there are delicious candies and pastries? lol.)

In addition to the high cholesterol, my blood sugar is at the high end of normal!

It's a sucky, sucky situation... F*** my doctor for ignoring likely hyperthyroidism

You're right -- it's just very, very difficult!

I do tend to eat everything at once because it's sooo delicious. I eat one thing, then eat a few more... mmmm delicious... and that's when I can't stop! Probably why I ate 3 damn cupcakes on Tuesday, along with a nice Zebra Cake! ****

And now I'm awake, starving as ever This is when I begin to crave sweets...

Did he run a t3 and t4? If not ask that that be drawn. those are better markers for thyroid issues not just a TSH.

Sugar is quite addicting. They put it almost all processed packaged foods.
Carbohydrate cravings are quite common. It is easy to over eat when it is just right there.
Could you ask the boss to provide protein bars...at least you could get some protein in you.
Could you bring some ham and cheese roll ups to eat at work?
do you drink milk?
Having a cup of warm milk at night can tide you over till morning.
And it can help you sleep better.

Hi bizi,

No, we only did TSH. Nothing beyond that. But I wouldn't be surprised if my T3 and T4 tests came back as hyperthyroid. I'm just concerned because my grandma had hyperthyroidism pretty badly.

I don't think my boss would be able to convince the company to bring in protein bars. They already took away a lot of the healthy snacks because people b.itched about no one eating them :-(

I don't really eat meat (maybe once a month (?) to be social), but if I do, it's chicken. I'm not a fan of ham.

TMI, but warm milk gives me the shits lol

French toast for breakfast, chicken noodle soup for lunch, and roasted chicken and beans for dinner.

Blood sugar is doing pretty good.

Tomorrow is going to be fun with a lot of eating out. Yay! It's my daughter's birthday.

3 cups of coffee with half and half and stevia.
lunch:
tuna steak for lunch with chard, collards, cabbage smothered with chicken sausage.
one oz of smoked almonds
Dinner:
12 oz strip steak
salad(greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, zuchinni, red onions, ceasar dressing.)

I am very anxious tonight:restless legs, can't sit still yet am falling asleep at the computer.
Will go to bed earlier tonight. Am tired, up early this morning. Have been seeing clients earlier.
I hope I can sleep tonight, not used to this anxiety. can't wait to take my klonipin.

Put on over 2 pounds in the last week. It is either muscle or the Abilify. My belly does seem a bit bigger but again could be the muscle I've put on there under the bit of flab. Decided to stop the Abilify as I am not agitated today(maybe because I finally got a good sleep with a prn Zyprexa last night so the hypomania is subsiding). Will take it PRN instead. Don't want another med that puts the weight back on that I fought hard to lose.

Seroquel XR seems to have reduced my appetite. wtf. I thought it was supposed to increase it?

Either way, I had a cupcake this morning and now I feel stuffed as if I ate a huge feast.

Yeah, were getting tons of it!

I'm supposed to get some protein shake related stuff in the mail today, but we have at least 4 inches on the ground, yet Amazon insists I'll get everything today. (I think they'll call it quits, though.)

I'm not looking forward to shoveling :-(

Lunch: Meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, and a half slice of chocolate cake
