Definitely my therapist, only because I have known him close to 11 years now, although this new psychiatrist I have been working with these past few months, is extremely, attentive, kind and understanding, so a lot of trust and respect is being built there.

Question: Do you feel better now that you have been diagnosed and on medication?

Oh yes. I can't imagine what I'd be like now without meds. Or even just without clozapine.

Are you able to handle a suspenseful ending or do you jump ahead/read spoilers?

I am pretty good with dealing with suspense and staying away from spoilers for the most part. (Although I tend to mute really scary movies and fast forward through the scary parts sometimes! )

Question: Do you still have your connection to faith/spirituality even while being on meds?

My faith is a huge part of my life, no matter my mood state. Although I need help with it when manic or depressed so I see a Christian therapist.

Do you/have you kept a blog and is it about bipolar?

What fictitious character can you relate to that has bipolar?

this person doesn't have bipolar, but, I am always told (by everyone I meet)

you remind me of elsa from the movie frozen

I don't quite know how to take it sometimes.... I guess I'm a little bit of an elsa at times, but I am also far from a princess. lol

I don't know how people can look at me and go..... awwww, look at the older version of elsa, but their we have it.

I've also been looked at and asked if I'm a colledge student

so make up your mind about which one is worse.

question:

have you ever explained your diagnoses to someone without mental illness, and in sted of ignoring it or laughing, they actually really make the effert to understand?

yep... that happens to me all the time sadly!

question: have you ever just convinced yourself that it's best to be alone and feel isolated, than it is to try and make friends just to then lose them?

(answering last question) question: have you ever just convinced yourself that it's best to be alone and feel isolated, than it is to try and make friends just to then lose them?

Yes.

Do you ever feel guilty for how you got someone out of your life?

no, they were very toxic relationships. I have felt like A huge bolder has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm in love with my family and that is enough for me right now.
Q: Do you waste a lot of money while hypo or full on mania.

Oh yes! Totally. I remember taking the $700 I worked so hard to save and blowing it all on an IPhone for someone I love. I didn't even question why $700 for a phone was absolutely ridiculous, nor how ridiculous it was for me to spend it to begin with.

Question: Have you been more manic or depressed lately?

Question: what does mania feel like to you? Hypomania? How would you describe it?

Yes.

yes I do.

especially laura

I can't believe it was all over a stupid religious disagreement

in sted of being like... okay, each to their own, I had to go one step further and call her out on it and say her belief was wrong

she caught me at the wrong time, I guess

but now it hurts because she was really good with my illness too. really good with the signs.

just recently someone i've known since childhood was pushed out of my life because I couldn't get past the fact he still listened to casette tapes

I told him.... I told him, we're in 2018, not the 1980's. get a grip on reality.

why. if that's what he enjoys..

Super-heightened senses, irritability, expansive thoughts and experiences, euphoria or dysphoria, racing thoughts, rapid speech, wild ideas and at the worst, psychosis.

Do you ever feel like you’re losing your mind in the literal sense of the statement?

My short term memory is so bad I will stop in the middle of saying something and have to say oh never mind, I forgot what I was trying to say.
Q: Do you feel better sleeping alone or with someone else?

Nothing major, no broken bones but lots of bumps and bruises

What do you do with leftover medication when you have a med change? Do you keep it in case you go back on it in the future? Throw it away?

I keep it, I don't even know why. I think I keep it as an emergency just in case I am in a crisis situation, and I need something to fight my symptoms, almost as a backup even though I am not really on that med anymore. It may not be wise, but I just feel bad throwing away medication that could one day help me in the future.

How many med changes have you had since being diagnosed?

Yes, but they usually go away after a week or two. Except the dystonia, that is one side effect I can't get rid of.
Q: What is your favorite med?

Even though I have BIG problems with the hangover I get, I have to say Seroquel has been a miracle drug for me, in more ways than one.

Do you find that when you're hospitalized (if you ever were), that they tend to give you WAY more drugs than you need?

haha yes!.

their's been times where I have even objected and said, enough is enough.

question:

if you could creat your own bipolar med, what would it do? (help with sleep, help with mood, help with memory, a combination of stuff....)
