I used to play a lot but haven't tried in years. I had 10 years of piano lessons. i learned the clarinet in band. That led to bass clarinet, tenor saxopone, french horn, trumpet, contrabass clarinet, flute, xylophone and my favorite, trombone. I didn't perform all of these, I just was good at learning them so every summer I learned a new instrument for fun.

Do you tan or burn in the sun and do your meds affect this?

When I was on Lithium the sun bothered the hell out of me.
Otherwise, I'm from the Caribbean. We live in the sun every day.
I still swim with a white T no matter how ridiculous I would look.
But I've never had my back peeling since then.

What is more important, to live a long life working the land, or to live Elvis's 44 years.

Well, I'm already over 44 years old and feel like my life sped by. Though my life wasn't as exciting as Elvis', I did have some very notable years. I think some of his years weren't as marvelous as we all assume.

I'm a real fan of Henry David Thoreau. I think there can be a real beauty and satisfaction in a simple life. Even people that work the land can be philosophical and creative in their down time or even as they work closely with the soil and experience the satisfaction of seeing things grow and seeing the sun rise and fall every day.

What do you like most about yourself? And please, do not respond "nothing".

I'm still good looking, smart, jovial, good friend, and lucky sometimes.
I could say good husband, but who I'm I kidding.

What do you prefer if you hafta choose, see the rain, or hear the rain.

P.S. I'd rather be Elvis.

Oh definitely hear the rain.

Would you rather be able to breathe under water and swim with the sea life or fly with the birds?

To fly with the birds would be awesome.

Does anyone else become afraid that they’ll never attain mental stability?

Probably something by Janet Evanovich in her Stephanie Plum series

What household chore is hardest for you?

The household chore that's hardest for me is vacuuming. It's tedious and makes my back hurt.

You can visit any place in the world that you want to. Where would it be and why?

Alaska. I think it is a beautiful and unique place and could only be topped by Antartica which would be too intense so 'm sticking to the less extreme. but I had many other ideas too.

Are you a list-maker?

I like lists. There’s something satisfying about ticking boxes.

How do you respond to the statement: “a bit of exercise would be great for your mental health”? (from a neighbour)

Do you drive and if so what kind of car?

I drive my beloved Hooker. A 2004 'Stang 'Vert GT. 40th Annivesary.
Bought her new back in the day. The beotch and I will die embraced.
I've had other cars in between. Expensive toys. They bore me sooner or later. Nobody like her.

How much would you spend in a flashlight.

If you were to buy a hand illumination device AKA flashlight, how much would you be willing to spend.
In US dollars. 5 bucks?, 10 bucks?, 500 bucks? 3000 bucks?.

Umm I guess no more than $20. I’ve got a great one for emergencies. It’s a combo flashlight and radio that you charge it’s battery by winding the handle on its side. No new battery or electricity required!

What’s the most exciting thing you’ve ever done?

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.

What’s the first vinyl record album you ever bought? (If you’re old enough to have lived the record album era lol!)
Thanks for this!
