Yeah, for most of the year - at the height of winter I close it.

Do you do anything creative?

Trying to avoid soda (getting a bit of pooch, and I think it's a contributor). I do drink seltzer though, especially lemon.

Do you have a favorite color, and if so, what is it?

breaking things to then replace them later on

it started out as a distraction for self injury (I'd take it out on objects, not my body)

but as time went on, I realised, that breaking my stuff actually brings me joy

yes.. it's wierd. but fact

I like breaking it just so I can buy a new one of the same object

question: when was the last time you tried something totaly knew, and what did you think about it?

question: what would be your first priority if you were suddenly in charge of the whole country?

Universal health coverage. I live in the US. If almost all of the rest of the first world countries can have it, so can we. It's the right thing to do. Anyone who wants extra "premium" coverage can pay for it. No one should be denied health coverage or pay much more for it with pre-existing conditions.

Also, "trickle down economics" is stupid. It has clearly been shown not to work. It's only the rich further enriching the rich. It not only puts the poor and middle classes at a further disadvantage, but doesn't help improve infrastructure, education, or scientific research, among other things, either.

What is your favorite season, and why?

winter

because it is darker, it is colder- and their is nothing like snuggling in front of the heater with a good movie

oh and halloween and christmas- not so much the holiday part, but the atmosphere it gives

(christmas in july just wouldn't be a thing because of the lighter evenings)

how do australians celebrate christmas when it's so hot....

question: do you worry about finances?, or is your money situation stable

Stable. Besides when it wasn't, I neever worried. Worry is a waste of time.
I believe in me. Bet on me, and act instead of worring.

Who was your first love.

Well, it's a toss up. My least favorite food is **** on a Shingle (dried beef gravy on toast). However, in Taiwan I once ordered a dish in a cheap cafeteria that translated to "Four Treasure Chicken". It looked good, but after my second or third bite I discovered a large live squirming worm in the chicken drumstick. Pretty gross, indeed! I returned it in anger asking, angrily, if the worm was supposed to be the fourth "treasure". I left immediately, grossed out, and went to a nearby McDonald's to "cleanse my palate".

How long was your shortest period of depression or hypo/mania between two periods of stability?

I took my cats to the vet today for shots and a physical. One came home n antibiotics and steroids due to an infection and probably allergic reaction to something. The other was fine but is now vomiting. She's in the basement and is throwing up in and around the litter pans. She cried out a few minutes ago but went and hit where I can't reach her when I went to check.

So I won't be sleeping much tonight. Today was a good day with nothing major happening at the vet's, I think I was more productive than I've been many days and I'm very happy that tomorrow should cool off for a while.

I just can't beat this anxiety. I have PRNs but have been having dizzy spells so don't want to add to that.

Someone is moving in the other room. I really hope it is my poor sick girl.

Worms are good. Termites are good too. Ant eggs are even better. Crickets are only beaten by the queen insect. The roach. Cooked or alive. A true delicacy.
I've eaten all of the above in Mexico. Several times too.

Nothing to gross out about. Do you eat pig?.

What's you favorite insect?.

I eat pig, but then it's natural to eat pig because... because well a lot of people eat pig

sausages... bacon.... mmm

what's so MM about a wiggly worm?
maybe I'm missing something, I don't know.

I suppose my favorite insect is a spider, if they are even classed as insects

if not though- maybe a daddy longlegs (even if it's just for the funny name)

for the record, why do you never get mummy longlegs?. I don't know that one.
best peace of advice you were ever given?

That's tough to answer since my favorites change. I love to cook and I'm pretty good at it. The most involved dish I've really made was a delicious pork chop dish first brined in cider and spices, then pan fried with an intensely delicious sauce and served with homemade apple fritters. The recipe (originally a NY Times recipe) can be found at Pan-Roasted Pork Chops with Apple Fritters | Novice Cook Jeff | Copy Me That. It takes at least two days to make and is divine. As for recipes I created myself, I make great soups (Celery, Cream of Tomato, French Onion, mushroom, chicken vegetable, etc.) and Beef Stroganoff. My husband loves a pasta dish I created with chicken Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, fresh basil, and Parmesan cheese. I love to bake, too. I have a wonderful carrot cake recipe and my creme brulee is outstanding. I cook daily when I'm not depressed. Sometimes when I'm hypomanic/manic I cook/bake various things in the middle of the night. I can cook/bake anything. I like variety. The following sweet bread is in the oven as I type this:
