Finally crashed. Feel like total sh_t. At least the weird sounds have stopped.

My pdoc was wondering how I could identify my hallucinations, as he didn't believe me. But I said that I've had the same types of hallucinations many times, so I'm able to recognize when something is "off". Now delusions? I have no idea. I just know that it doesn't feel right when I'm only hearing bizarre sounds out of my left ear in the middle of the night, never the right. I mean, my parents definitely aren't blasting undecipherable rap music from their room at 3am.

I had to put my one cat Torbee to sleep on Friday. She had been sick for 2 months. It turns out she had stomach cancer. She was only 6. So the past few days have been really hard. My other cat Sneakers is walking around crying and looking for her. I would eventually get a new kitten but Sneakers has a contagious condition to other cats. Torbee was sick with something to. I want to say it was FIV. I feel bad for my husband he was really close to her. Really she was his. Sneakers is my baby. At least Christmas is coming soon. It gives me something to look forward to.

Home with sore throat and achy. Gargling warm salt water which is my mom's old trick from when we were kids. It's nasty but really does help. I'm going to work tomorrow now matter how I feel. I'm just now building up sick leave and vacation time and I don't want to burn through it all! Hugs to everyone!!

It's probably just coincidence, but I forgot to take my Lithium the other day and now all of a sudden I feel much better. Like the depressive funk just vanished overnight. It's not a manic-like feeling good either, I'm just feeling really positive and motivated to do things.

I'm in a lot of pain and feeling down. How come being physically unwell can effect your mood so much... I don't know.

My pdoc called me back. I told her about how I found out about the loss of the person who I was dating and how it made my already mixed manic mood a million times worse.
She told me that I can't allow myself to get triggered by this and recommended therapy, and I informed her that I am resuming therapy beginning this upcoming Monday, which she was glad to hear. She said that if I don't improve, we'll have to talk about me going on Lithium or Depakote, which I really, really don't want to do.

what are your current meds?
I believe by adding the small dose of zyprexa has really helped.
just curious.

Doing a little better now that the "awful anniversary" is over and my holiday shopping/wrapping is done. Been losing sleep, though, because my husband is up early and it wakes me up, then can't go back to sleep. I felt really groggy and slept for four hours this morning/afternoon. If I hadn't pulled myself out of bed I would've slept longer.

Hugs to all that need them.

Feeling very uneasy. Difficulties with sleep. Getting into more pain. Not sure of what to write. Am reading here and offering lots of hugs.

Love to All.

Hugs WC I hope things settle soon and you get much needed sleep

Hugs to everyone having a rough time

I’m doing well the last 4 days. Feels nice. Sleep still an issue but I seem to be coping with 3-4 wakings per night with total sleep about 5-6 hours. Not taking sleep meds regularly (wasn’t doing much better with them anyway).
Started a thread about lamotrigine/Lamictal rash. I have a tiny rash and looking for feedback.

Pretty irritable today. Exhausted. Depressed though not severely, I think. Last 2 days I've come home from work and laid in bed for hours staring at the ceiling and feeling overwhelmed. I know I'm in trouble. Might just be burnout not bipolar. Doesn't feel the same. Pretty sure stress and anxiety is what has my stomach such a wreck. See pdoc Friday. Tried to weasel out of it due to cost. He wasn't having any of that. I don't know why I'm angry. It's like the worse I am the more I don't want help. Anyone else like this?

Sure sounds familiar to me. I've been going through a rough patch lately & kicked the appointment with my therapist up a week...unlike in the past. I don't want to wind up in the "red zone." It sounds like you're in the "red zone." Isn't there any way else you can get help covering the cost of a visit to see the pdoc? Your physical & mental health come first.

We worked it out. But I have a feeling he's going to want to see me back in at least a month. At least by then my FSA will have money again. I like the guy and all, but I'm tired of seeing him this year. My brain needs to get with the program!

Lamictal 400 mg daily (she won't raise it beyond that, since there's no data to say it would be any more effective, and risks start to raise), Gabapentin 3x daily total 900 mg, Klonopin as needed (lately about 1 mg daily), Seroquel 400 mg. I've been on higher amounts of Seroquel in the past, and it was good and not so good at the same time. My mood did improve a bit, but I had to make a lot of lifestyle changes to battle the fatigue while working. I did notice my body is dependent on the Seroquel for sleep. I am afraid of Zyprexa, doesn't it cause a lot of weight gain? Just wondering.

I was taking these meds for years but recently added the zyprexa to see if I could sleep better and maybe help stabilize my mood better to help with my addictions.I have more control over my drinking the past week. Ate too many sugar free chocolates and made myself sick. Have been on the internet for too long. so maybe the zyprexa is helping some????
