I've posted a few things in different threads and my internal censor deleted it before I pressed send...
I must not feel sad, mad or bad and especially must not express it

Where did that message come from

Are you able to talk with your therapist?

Are you able to contact your pdoc to see if a med adjustment might be helpful?

I hope you keep reaching out here and anywhere you find it helpful!

Iam concerned for you. Please look into contacting your T and your pdoc.

I cannot be sure about the origination those thoughts.
Many of us get them from our families while growing up.
I hope you will feel like you can share them..and lighten your load?

If you feel like you cannot share with anyone, do you think you could write about them in a journal?

Let me know if I can help!

How would you like some good news?
When I went to pick up my meds, they gave me *both* 30 day and new (new prescription/new provider) 90 day refills on my 2 main psych meds(!!!!!) Also a 90 day on a double-duty psych/physical med!! Never expected that! It did add up, but I'm very glad to have them and not have to deal with it for quite awhile.

I wish everyone here the best in accessing their meds (with extra good luck to BeyondtheRainbow for your particularly trying situation. )

Well I was able to refill my sleeping meds one day early! They had buy one get one free for most vitamins and supplements so I stocked up. I'm not going to need anything OTC for some time. The pharmacy will remain open and they told me it would be fine for me to use the drive up and write that I was deaf to remind them.

Yesterday when I went to Culver's for what I thought was the last time they told me too that I could just drive up to the pay window and they would take my order there. that was nice.

We're all set for the next two weeks. I didn't get any more library books cause I ran out of time to look but I did get more books on my request list. But I was just to the library a couple days ago and got a huge stock of books. Plus there's a few around here that haven't been read yet that my sister bought over. They are romance so there low on my priority list

Ohhh jeopardy is on now. Got to go.

Good news! Thank you!
I do not have 90 day scripts yet. At least my pharmacy has a drive though.

Yes, extra good luck to BeyondtheRainbow!

Our providers are human beings also they have to protect themselves and families.. Maybe your Pdoc will do phone appts??

Our lives for right now are going to difficult but at least we are not alone

TELEMEDICINE UPDATE:

Please double-check with your insurer on this:

The federal government has expanded telemedicine coverage to ALL people on Medicare
The same with Medicaid.

The federal government is giving Medicaid waivers to states.

Commercial insurance companies are being asked to follow suit on telemedicine coverage.. They might or might not.

Please check with your insurer.

Hello Everyone

I finally was able to finally sleep... But I really had to drug myself down, which is something I just hate doing. I stayed in bed so long with having PsA and Fibro I almost had to have my husband help me get up

I am so greatful I found PC so many years ago. Its truly a life line.

I personally had cut down to watching the news to a couple times a day, Now today I have made further cuts. I am watching to nightly news only 30 mins and I am checking the CDC site twice a day. I will just scroll past news articles on my Facebook... But ill stop and see the funny memes tho

Now more than ever we all need to step up our selfcare. Our treatment teams will need to make changes, they have family to protect, Honestly do we really want to go into an office and sit in a waiting room around others? I do not.

Im sure many providers will do Teletherapy and phone sessions.

Love and hugs to all

Oh, that is good news WC.

Last time I was at the grocery store they were also out of bakery items, like flour, sugar and chocolate chips. I thought maybe that was just a quirky thing. But no my sister said that today when she went there in her town there still was no flour and they were low on sugar. So I guess at least in southeastern Minnesota people plan on baking while there stuck at home. She found flour at a quick trip store. But people had brought up all the bread too so they must not be planing on making bread at home.

Christina, so good to hear you have gotten some sleep. Yeah I don't watch the news much. We also watch none main stations to avoid the constant stream of running banners announcing the closings.

I’ve had 7 nosebleeds in two weeks and they are getting worse. My doctor said to come in tomorrow. Thankfully they see well patients in the morning and sick patients in the afternoon then disinfect. Still a bit leery. I took the first appointment. Fingers crossed.

Still have to get medicine and a few things from Food City. From 7-8 they only allow senior citizens in to shop which I think is really nice.

Hope everyone sleeps well tonight.

hi Jennifer!
I've been wanting to write! I have not had a chance yet.

I do want to tell you : I had a time in my life when I was getting nosebleeds frequently. I just needed a blood vessel in my nose cauterized, The repair was so easy. I hope you have something easy, too!!!

thinking of you, offering vibes of calmness and of healing!!!

Hi! just seeing this. It was a little uncomfortable, but I am sure they have a different, new and improved method. I had mine done in the '80's.!!!

I hope it goes well for you!

Oh sorry about the nose bleeds , that sucks. Its good that your Doctors office has a plan in place.. very smart. The best thing to do is truly not touch our faces which is so hard .. We all touch our face constantly and dont even realize it and Wash our hand !

Hope your appt goes well and you can get the nosebleeds figured out

whatever, that's great that your food inventory showed that you were better prepared than you thought. I did the exact same thing the day before yesterday. I also strategized meal planning to be sure no food will be wasted. I hope your tooth doesn't hurt more. It's horrible thinking that some emergency help would be hard to get.

Fluffydinosaur, I'm sorry you are depressed. Hugs and best wishes that your mood lifts, soon.

Innerzone, that's good news about your prescriptions. Most of mine are 90 day supplies through mail order. I also just learned that one at a brick and mortar may also qualify for that. I doubt the benzos will, though. I have plenty of Ativan since I only take it "prn", but I only ever have just enough of Klonopin.

Jennifer, I hope they get your nose bleeding under control quickly.

Childofchaos and slider, I hope today is a brighter day. Is there anything you could plan today that may bring some pleasant experience? Walk outside? Flowers are starting to bloom in my area and some perennial herbs are showing themselves. I think the birds are getting "spring delight", if you know what I mean.
