When I worked in nursing home years ago I came down with H1N1 , caught it from work. 7-8 residents had it , we tracked it down to a residents daughter flat sick as hell coming to visit Mom age damn near killed her mom with it.

Yeah I can’t get a cold it’s always bronchitis and pneumonia...

Invest in good hand cream .. I’d wash my hands so much they would crack and bleed , I would then have to wear gloves all the time since I had open wound. I would go through at least 150 + pairs of gloves a shift.Isn’t working health care fantastic sometimes

Cruise ships are just Petri dishes *shudder* one day I wanna go buy I’m afraid of Noro virus and now this!

I’m grateful our weather has been really good since the tornados , it’s helped people find personal item and start cleaning up. My heart breaks for them all... Nashville has a housing crisis already ... where do all these displaced People live while they start to rebuild. It’s so sad

Just cruising along in my exhausted haze. Still, I’m happy so can’t complain. Going to catch up with my partner this weekend. It’s been nearly two weeks since I’ve seen him so I’m excited. The break has been good for us both though.

Thinking of you all as this stupid virus causes so much havoc and suffering. Sending protective healing vibes. May we all stay well.

As I wrote, I fried an egg for my husband's since his didn't have one. He agreed he would have been jealous if I had an egg and he didn't.

Nothing new here. Still want to punch, kick, throw, and destroy things. I even took a rexulti last night and evidently it's done nothing so far. I know it needs time to build up in my system again, but I was hoping I would see a slight change at the bare minimum.

Anyway, I was doing fine this morning, but now the irritability/pissiness is back with a vengeance. I hate my life right now. I'm afraid I'm going to snap at someone.

I did go out for lunch today with my parents, but I was pissed the whole time. I thought getting fresh air and changing my environment would do me good, but nope.

I think I'm going to work from home tomorrow so that I don't do something at work that I will regret. I don't want to get into any quarrels with people, so it's best that I isolate myself for now... until this all blows over.

I got that yesterday at a Korean restaurant. I can see how your husband would be jealous! The egg is one of the best parts.

Spent a little bit of money on myself today. I decided to decorate the house for spring so I got some silk flowers for the vase and a pretty wreath for the door. Forgot to get a flag for my garden though. Oh well. Then I went and bought some short sleeve blouses for work as for some reason I only have about five. Wouldn’t want to wear the same five shirts to work every week lol. So yes, I spent a bit, but it’s ok. This and my air diffuser are it.

RS asked me today if I thought I might have anemia because I am so cold all the time. I’m not sure. I would gave thought the hospital would have tested my iron levels but maybe that’s not what they were looking for. But some of the symptoms match up. Extreme fatigue, high heart rate, dizziness, cold hand and feet. So I bought so iron pills and I’m going to start supplementing. I looked at a list of iron rich foods and it’s all good I don’t like so it’s entirely possible I am deficient. I see my pcp on Thursday so I’ll bring it up then.

News on the food stamps front: Got a letter that I thought was going to say "Approved" or "Denied" but instead it says I have to meet with my case manager at 8:45 on Wednesday. I'll have to take N3 to work that day (I think) so I'll just set out my clothes the night before and go sit at Starbucks for a bit to read or what have you until its time to drive to the appointment. It only has my name on the paperwork, not N3 even though I included him on the application because he lives with me and that's the rules. Its household income. I applied last year but we were denied because N2 made us have too much money to qualify. Which wasn't a bad thing, but now N3 and I really would like to have the food stamps so we have more money for things like gas in the car.

28 this am and warmed up to 62 and oh the sun was so awesome to see and feel ! Sat outside watching my silly dogs chase rabbits... One day one of the bunnies will trip and well ...

We have a boxer mix. She is sweet and great with my kids. But.... Last Thanksgiving she chased a squirrel down and treated it like a chew toy. The poor thing was gone by the time we noticed and interceded. A few months later I saw her standing proudly over a huge rabbit she had caught. It freaked me out a little to be honest. She's such a part of the family that we forget she's a dog sometimes. It makes me pause when I see her respond to nature in these kinds of ways...

Well do what I do..... If I do sleep and have to be up by a certain time Ill set like 6 alarms on my phones at like 5 min intervals maybe id reach over and turn that alarm off and doze back off but 5-6 or more in a row ,, Nope I will get up...

My former boss has two collies. They both like to hunt down skunks. They once chewed one up, dragged it into the house, and pretty much rubbed all the skunk juice on the couch when they jumped on it and rolled around.

Oh my. That is pretty horrible. My previous dog rolled in skunk juice once and it was disgusting. I can only imagine.

I don’t want to go to sleep but I think it’s because when Daylight savings time ended last year it messed me up so badly for about a month. My Pdoc had to bring my mom into my session so he could talk to her because my moods were so messed up from the time change. Maybe if I go to bed late it won’t be that bad. Or is that the exact opposite of what your supposed to do...

I also have stomach cramps right now but I’ve had them every night for 3 weeks. I’m just not getting my period.

Still feeling unwell tonight. Yesterday I was feeling nauseous but I thought it was because I drank a venti iced mocha from Starbucks and I don’t usually drink coffee. I ate dinner fine but then I felt nauseous again laying down at night. Today I was completely, absolutely, totally exhausted. I woke up at 9:30a and kept yawning. Went out to the stores. Came back from lunch (I only ate three chicken tenders and a small ice cream from Dairy Queen) and felt asleep at 2p for FOUR HOURS I woke up and made spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner but I could only eat a few fork fulls, then I got nauseous again. Now I have been laying down since 6.30 and I feel better but I also feel like my head is heavy. I don’t know, I have a stuffy nose so maybe I’m getting a cold again. My heart seems to only be beating a little fast. Ugh I really just want to be healthy and get to the bottom of this.

When I was 10 y.o., I was given an adorable beagle puppy. So cute. She came from hunting stock, parents were great rabbit hunters.

My neighbors bred rabbits and had many.

I found a solution. We had a side yard that was fenced in. I took my pup and put her in the fenced in area. I then retrieved my biggest rabbit, Thumper. I put Thumper in there. Every time the pup would show interest and get close to the rabbit, the pup would get "thumped!"

My brothers took her rabbit hunting or so they thought. Other dogs were tracking rabbits left and right. My dog? She just wanted to escape the whole ordeal.

Mission accomplished.

Oh my! That's terrible. My mom's dog got skunked once and they let the dog back in the house like nothing happened.
