It took awhile for me to fall asleep. I took 30mil of melatonin. I woke up groggy and anxious around 3:30. I'm still anxious and a bit groggy.

I was having trouble falling asleep. I just was having a lot of back and forth thinking and trouble making up my mind about something. Finally I put on an 8 hour white noise sound on my phone instead of my music and was asleep in literal minutes after struggling for a couple hours. That was at 7:40 and I woke up feeling rested at 2:50. Now I'm a bit anxious though.

I slept for a while, woke up & tried to go back to sleep, then decided to stay up & hang out here at the forums. Thank goodness for these wonderful forums!

I woke up feeling awesome and then I realized it was barely midnight and my anxiety sucks. But I think I'm just super hungry. Mainly I just want a Coke though.

I had a Coke and a string cheese and I got back to sleep before 2 and I woke up at 5 and I feel pretty good now. I think I slept from about 7 until midnight and then from about 2 until 5. Which isnt bad considering how I have been sleeping lately. I had gym shorts on which may have helped.

I kept waking up last night. I think I got 5 hours total. You'd think on my giant dose of zyprexa I'd be sleepy but nope just hungry.

I kept waking up too. I’d say all in all I got about 5 1/2 hours of very broken sleep. If I thought I was draggy yesterday! Hoo boy, I’m crawling today. But tonight is my full dose night so I should sleep tonight, yay!

I'm not in the mood for music tonight. I have my white noise on and I am trying to get to bed early. I have been unusually tired today.

I fell asleep right before 8 with a stomach ache. I woke up at 2 with one. I had some weird dream about my aunts ex husband and he was at Thanksgiving and Snoopy was making spaghetti for us for dinner. I'm not sure if i'll go back to sleep.

I'm on the insomnia train tonight. Mountaindewed, are you still there? That sounds like an interesting dream. Do you mean Snoopy the dog?

** See edit at end for result **

I'm making a schedule for sleepless nights. So far, it's like this:

(I go to bed at 11 pm)

12:30 am: my playlist or CD of music that sometimes makes me drowsy
1 am: progressive muscle relaxation
1:30 : read one of my stack of never-before-read books
2: yoga ending in bed
2:30: go through files (paper) and light snack of something that never causes heartburn
3: yoga nidra--online audio/video meditation-like thing
3:30: redo lists (I have several)
4: other recorded sleep meditation-like stuff
4:30: some rather unimportant special project I saved like reinforcing buttons that are getting loose
5: deep breathing exercise--these have never worked for me but they say practice helps
5:30: more files
6: usual time to get up

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to fall asleep somewhere in there.

** So I went back to bed at about 4 and played the sleepy music playlist, then did some progressive muscle relaxation, and fell asleep for maybe an hour, which is a lot better than nothing. I had also slept about an hour around 2 am. For someone who's had as many totally sleepless nights as I have, this is not too grim.
If anyone wants to know what songs are on that playlist, I'll look them up and post them. Might do it anyway next time I'm looking at my playlists.

I dont know if I'm super anxious, super tired, or getting a stomach bug. Its really late for me to still be up. I'm still at the hotel. I took a zofran and I still feel like throwing up but I dont know why. I'm thinking of either sleeping on the bathroom floor or just trying really hard to sleep in bed. Hopefully I sleep in a bit.

I ended up sleeping for about an hour from 12:40-1 or 2 something on the bathroom floor. Then it got way too uncomfortable so I went back to the bed. My brothers snoring woke me up off and on until my mom woke me up getting out of bed for good at 6. I got an iced coffee from Mcdonalds and I ate a legit breakfast plus I've been on the move since 7:30 so I don't feel too tired right now. I'll probably crash later though.

I woke up at 9 something a couple hours after falling asleep after barely getting any sleep the night before. My first thought was "wtf do I have sleep apnea or something?" Then I got back to sleep until 10 something and I made frozen blueberry crepes in the oven. I ate 1 and put the rest in the fridge. Then I was like eff it and I took an 80 geodon and got back to sleep from 12 something until close to 6.

Last night I had an episode of The Mysterious Disappearing Sleep Medicine.

I took it in the usual way at the usual time, and since it had totally knocked me out the night before (new higher dose) I was ready to go bye-bye quickly.

An hour later I was still waiting. WTF????

I played my "rest" playlist and it calmed me down. Then I did some yoga and got more calm. Then I turned on NPR in the kitchen and got back in bed and waited. Eventually I fell asleep. Better late than never.

I fell asleep at my normal 7 something time. I woke up around 12:30. I drank a caffeine free Coke and made a corn tamale in the microwave. I wasn't up long. Maybe until 2:30. I woke up at 5.

I'm wondering if I'm in some kinda manic phrase. I wanted to wake up at this time. But I did get about 6 hours so I'm not sure.

I fell back asleep for about 1.5 hours after my morning meds and I woke up at 5. So I feel pretty rested. I was only up for less then a couple hours.

I woke up from what felt like a deep sleep. But, as usual, way too early, somewhere around midnight. Still, I'm glad I , apparently, finally got into the deeper realm.

I miss my cool wild awesome dreams. Lately they are troubled and wake me with a start. People are in danger. So dark and troubling. I wake much too soon. But I am wrestling with depression.
