I made it to aqua fitness today. There’s a new yoga class starting tomorrow. But tomorrow is supposed to be bad weather so maybe the following week? Their yoga classes fill up quickly. Even their yoga on the water. I’ve not got the talent for that one but it seems cool. They have individual floating yoga pads that they float on the water while doing poses! So if their beginning yoga class tomorrow is open weather wise I’ll go to that.

I’m really missing mum. I’ll think oh, she’ll find this funny, but then I remember.

Aqua yoga sounds really interesting! I've never heard of that. I hope you're able to go I take a yoga class but it's just regular, I bet it's a lot of fun doing yoga in/on the water.

I'm sorry about your loss It's really hard to adjust to especially in the beginning. When my mom died I remember doing the same thing, reading or watching or hearing about something and thinking "oh mom would like this, or mom would think this is funny" but of course she was no longer there. It's hard. sending hugs

They also have community events sometimes like live music or poetry readings. I plan on going back there, by myself sometime just to get a cappuccino and something for lunch. To push myself to get through my anxiety about going places alone

Wow, sounds like a fabulous cafe @Blue_Bird! Ohhh, if I was younger and not bogged down with med side-effects (cognitive stuff) how I would love to open a really great coffeehouse. I'm so glad you and your sis had such a nice time.

It's so hard when our moms are gone. Things were quite rough with my mom when I was growing up, but as she went into her older years her mental illness mellowed quite a bit, also I was able to put limits on how much time I spent with her. But I miss meeting for lunch and I miss having her on Mother's Day.
I'm sorry you have to have that sadness, Nammu.

Water yoga sounds incredible!

I am sorry you are missing your mum. You took good care of her and she was an important woman in your every day and companion. I am sorry she is gone.

Eye doctor appointment today. I have to drive to a different town. It's a beautiful, sunny day though - although there's another rainstorm that will move in tonight. Sheesh, I am so over rainstorms. My vision has worsened over the winter and I'm unhappy about it; I've always heard that our vision stops getting worse by age 60.

I hope you all have a lovely day

This constipation is so bad I'll probably have to go to the ER in the morning. I've tried everything. I've taken more then the reccomended doses of Colace and Philips milk of magneisum and I've had a glass of mirolax. I also drank a cold brew coffe, had a can of baked beans, and I've had about 3 bottles of water. I'm trying really hard to avoid the ER but nothing is working so I think this may be an issue that the ER is needed for. I'll keep chugging water tonight and see how things go. Hopefully they resolve themselves fairly soon.

Idk if I should go tonight or not to the ER. I'm having trouble staying awake right now and I'm just kinda zoned out and my stomach is gurggling but nothing is happening. My mom is at my sisters so I can't do anything at this excat moment. My pulse is ok so maybe I'm just anxious right now. Its about 25 minutes before I take my normal meds anyways.

My chocolate cheese came a few minutes ago. I guess a pound equals to 2 blocks of cheese because I got 6 blocks of cheese total when I was expecting 3. I'm not unhappy especially with the price, its just a lot of cheese....

I don't feel like I'm in an ER type crisis anymore right now with my stomach issues. But I really will have to do something in the morning if nothing happens overnight.

My sweet mamaw Juanita was 90 years old. She celebrated that milestone
On January 3 of this year. She taught me to sew and bake dressed eggs the proper way! She was the best!

I’m so sorry. Was she still at the nursing home or was she able to go home? I remember they both had covid around the same time.

It’s a very hipster type vibe and I really liked it a lot. Their wall to floor bookshelf was packed with so many awesome books by great authors and some really beautiful editions. Everything is for sale. There was also a table with a bunch of popular paperbacks, I bought a copy of Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. My sister bought a book for my niece thats by an author she’s writing her senior (high school) paper on.

I got a caramel oat milk cappuccino and a chipotle chicken sandwich and my sister got a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and we both got a black cherry soda. Neither of us got a drink at the bar because she was driving and I don’t really drink and can’t drink on my meds. But it was really cool. The people there were very friendly and knowledgeable about books. The bar tender helped my sister pick out a book, because he was familiar with the author that she wanted. It was a very open nice atmosphere.

They’re only open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. They give their staff the other three days off to rejuvenate.

They also had some cool little gifts and stuff and they have a children’s room in the back so kids can play while waiting for food, it has all kinds of puzzles and games and stuff.

Anyway, it was really cool and I just wanted to share

I think it’s great your able to take classes like this !

Be kind while grieving the loss of your mum. After my Dad died I started a composition book is write in when things popped up I’d want to tell him and I did it after my Mom passed away too. It offered a bit of comfort.

I have pretty much given up on ever sleeping through the night again. So I've decided that at least I must go to bed by 10pm so that I will wake up earlier and have more time to sleep once I'm able to return to sleep. Also I'm trying to do things like write in a journal, read, and meditate using the Calm app (which I pay for so should use!) But I've now put a red-light shift app on my phone and laptop so if I do go online I'm not getting as much blue light which is activating.

This super dry rash is hanging on

Nammu how’s your daughter doing? Any headway on her being able to get back on Latuda ?

Beth I’m so happy that you found a good provider !!!! About time.

Soupe I sure hope this cold resolves itself and your able to get back to normal daily life soon!

Wild ! Hope your feeling better and IP is helping

Mm how’s things going ??

Moose Hope your doing okay

Rainbow I hope today is better than yesterday. Any ETA on your patches ? Much love

Hugs to anyone I missed I’m struggling to keep thing straight in my head to reply.

~~~~~~
I got my new biologic med Skyrizi yesterday.
I went ahead and did the injection. My psoriasis is just horrible! I take the next injection in 4 weeks then every 3 months so it’s nice it’s not a weekly injection like Enbrel and Humira , not that it’s a big deal. It stings a bit is all. I so hope it starts working fast. My joints are so painful from PsA
Gave Gus a bath the other day. I have a special water wand that really makes it much easier. He goes bonkers after a bath zooming all over the house. He smells like peaches.
@christina 🥰 aww Gus is a peach 🍑
I’m waiting on my son in law to get back to me, on what’s going on. My caption phone is not working. So I can’t call her and the hospital has a strict one hour visiting policy with a limit of two people per day. Her hubby goes every day and takes one of the kids alternate days.
Oh I hope the new med turns out to work even better than the one they won’t cover anymore. It’s beyond time for you to get some relief 😅
