fuzzy ----of all the study I have done ...what I see the good docs talking about...
1---eat healthy
2---be physically active
3---have good relationships

there are many other things but pills are not on the top of the list...this has to do with anxiety and depression..

Do you enjoy writing? You can always try to write stories as a distraction... I personally have tried to, but they all are very immature in terms of everything. Not to mention if I was in the position to write novels I wouldn't be here at PsychCentral.

This is interesting, that so much study points to this.. pills not being top of the list

It would take a lot of energy to even start to convince the world of this, or for them to even consider its possible value.

“Medication” ..

If that doesn’t “work” - “inpatient” ..

And what do they offer? Aside from more labels? Medication ..

Good relationships.. why don’t more doctors try to at least be respectful to their
patients . The doctor/patient and therapist/patient thing is a “relationship” too :

I hear... that when we think that depression is something different than stress...which it is....then we think lifestyle factors cant help depression....and I usually don't have the energy at times to deal with walking around...but they say walking is effective in treating depression...I hate to walk but it helps me some...but when I am in the hell hole walking is the last thing I would think about..so be it

I want to just die... can anybody help me?

So everyone around me is done telling me I can never study medicine.
Because, well, DAH, you grew up in a dysfunctional family that will kill you eventually. I am SORRY, but you cannot be a doctor.

Oh, and people who you wanted to help, despite the fact that you do not know their existence, oh , I am sorry to inform but they will be managed by doctors who had better luck than you growing up. Or having birth in first place.

Now sit back and enjoy your slowly fading life. Die out of obesity, if you will.

maybe there is more than guilt that I am dealing with...
I did not achieve what I was wanting to do...I was cut down...
I was cut down three different times...called breakdowns..
I still don't understand why I reacted so strongly to what ---
was going on...what was happening..i just couldn't deal with reality..
I suppose some of the **** heads would say I was too sensitive...
and I am very sensitive...I don't like what I see going on...I don't see
all the wonderful things out there ....it doesn't seem so wonderful to me..
so they tell me to just focus on the good...not the bad...I need help on that one..

The t wrote how I’m “hypersensitive” - I mentioned that before. Maybe the issue was more that he was insensitive and abusive

I’ve known some people who are “........................” oh I’m not going there

Maybe those other **** heads are “too insensitive”...

I have been away for a while. I was on 40mg prozac for a couple of weeks with a mood stabilizer and an anxiolytic but w/o any anti-psychotic. I started having blackouts and felt somewhat agitated. My doctor reintroduced my anti-psychotic and told me to drink fruit juice. Now I m on 10mg prozac along with a mood stabilizer, an anxiolytic and an anti-psychotic.
But I wonder what caused the blackouts? Was there a drastic fall in my blood glucose? Can prozac cause a drastic fall in blood glucose?
