I did not get back from my brother's house in time to practice my violin last night. But I did get the pie baked.

Today my goals are to eat appropriate portions and:

- take the dogs to the dog park at lunch
- workout
- practice violin

I actually already did some chores and cleaned up all the baking stuff from yesterday.

I'm trying to order some groceries today. My first order was delivered to the wrong address. Instacart is working on replacing the order now. Good news is they found my cheesecake I like this time. My order will be here soon. I'm glad. And I know this shopper. She always does a great job. But I am very stressed. I took my trash out today. I don't think I will do any other chores. I don't know... maybe I will wash dishes. So today, I still have the following:

1. Wash dishes.
2. Take a shower.
3. Read in bed.

Taking a shower will be hard. I'll be happy if I wash my hair today.

I managed to practice my violin. And I had a movie date with my friend. Ended up resting a lot of the day. It's okay. I seemed to have needed it.

Delia, have you ever tried the 2 min rule? Basically, whenever you microwave something, take those few minutes to wash some dishes. I started employing that strategy because chores felt so time consuming and tiring. It has worked well. My dishes aren't always done but it never gets too bad as a result.

That's a good idea. I could do that when I make my coffee. I have a single-serve and each time I make a cup, I do have time where I can wash some dishes. Thanks for suggesting that.

I've been a bit bored and sad today. I showered, did some reading, cleaned the litter boxes and cleaned up my workstation. I feel tired now. I hope to wash dishes soon. Or maybe I'll do it tomorrow:

Goals today are

- violin
- get laundry started
- workout
- read
- paint

I already both practiced my violin for 45 minutes and had my hour lesson. Going to throw a load of laundry in now too.

I prefer to workout after dinner so that will be later. And I read before bed.

Gotta try to keep moving. I also took the boys to the park this morning.

I’m definitely down today. Why is debatable. Tomorrow I hope to:

1. Complete inner work
2. Complete household chores
3. Make a chicken pot pie

Today I took out the trash and I washed some dishes. I still have more dishes to wash. I did some pick up in my living room. But I have a lot more work to do. I feel tired now. I'll probably take a break and play my game for a while. Tomorrow, I plan to:

1. Wash more dishes.
2. Clean the living room or at least part of it.
3. Read in bed.

I completed my inner work and most of my household chores. I went by the store to get the crescent rolls I forgot for the chicken pot pie. I’ll make that around 5:30. I spent a lot of time with mom today....visiting and watching movies. I think I’ve reached the SAD stage of the year for me but I feel better getting things done. I’ll keep forcing myself to do that. Tomorrow, I’d like to:

1. Work out
2. Finish household chores
3. Run errands
4. Listen to Eckhart Tolle lecture missed due to technical difficulties
5. Cook dinner

I did some homework, worked on my PhD application yesterday, and played my violin a lot more than I normally do.

Today, besides work, I'm going to:

- walk 10k steps
- workout
- work in my PhD application some more

So far today I have washed a load of dishes. I have one more load to do. And I started picking things up in my living room. I haven't been doing any reading. I might try later on. I am tired already. I thought I got enough sleep, but I really want to go back to bed for a while. Maybe because it's so dreary out. For the remainder of the day, I will do the following:

1. Clean part of the living room.
2. Open packages.
3. Play my game.

I'm really exhausted today. It might be lack of sleep. I may have to take my cat to the vet. It depends on how she does today. She's been having urinary problems. She has an appointment Thursday but I don't know if we can wait that long. So I'm really stressed by all this. Yesterday I put the rest of my groceries away, so my living room looks better. I doubt I will do any other chores today. I just want to relax:

1. Take my cat to the vet.
2. Play my game.
3. Rest and relax.

Ended up changing my goals yesterday as my workday unfolded and discovered how tired I was. Swapped workout for violin and didn't get to work on my application but moved that to Saturday to finish.

Today I will

I was able to complete everything except #3 which I will divide between today and Wednesday. The Eckhart Tolle lecture turned out being the live one on Conscious Evolution and Climate Change as he changed nights. I also had a good therapy appointment where we strategized minimizing SAD. Today is much the same as the other.

1. Work out
2. Run errands
3. Attend Zoom meeting
4. Work on special project
5. Complete inner work

Yesterday I cleaned both litter boxes and opened some packages. Today I have washed dishes. Tomorrow I will take my cat to the vet. She has an appointment in the afternoon. I didn't get to relax much yesterday, so I hope today is better:

I just attended bible study. It was uplifting and nice to connect with friends even if it is at a distance. It’s cold here and I would prefer to stay in but I need to go pick up groceries so I thought I’d go to the park and walk then come home and enjoy a hot cup of coffee with a touch of eggnog creamer. Today is fluid for me mostly. I’d like to:

1. Pick up the house
2. Email about my CPA renewal
3. Attend an 8:30 Zoom meeting
4. Make dinner for the family
5. Read for relaxation

I was able to accomplish everything I wanted to yesterday. Today I’m stuck on a big project I’ve got going. I’ll be working on that all day aside from talking with my daughter by phone.

Today has been stressful. I unloaded the dishwasher this morning and this afternoon took my cat to the vet. I waited over an hour for them to examine her and run tests. Looks like she has a problem with constipation. She has some meds and a new diet now. I am tired. I will try to relax tonight:

1. Order a frappuccino.
2. Play my game.
3. Meditate before bed.

I started a big project and stalled out on it half way through the afternoon. I’ll break it down into smaller pieces and start again at 5:00 tomorrow. Tomorrow my plans are:

1. Work on project
2. Talk to daughter
3. Work on inner peace course
4. Make dinner for family

Last night I was able to relax. It took a while to unwind. I didn't sleep much, but I will try to get more sleep later on. I'm cooking at the moment. I'm making a dirty rice dish. This time I added cheese. It's more like creamy dirty rice. I feel Okay. Today, I plan to mainly relax:

1. Clean the litter box.
2. Empty the trash.
3. Do more cooking.

I’m getting nowhere with my project. I’ve visited with my nephew and my mom today and did some inner work and barely scratched the surface of my project. I am determined though. I will try again tomorrow.
