Summer is a horrible time for eating healthy. I work out in my fields & drink tons if water with the heat & sure don't feel like cooking anything when I come in the house at 9pm or later. The good thing is our little town has no good fast food or restaurants so not tempted to drive 30 minutes let alone grungy from outside work. I do something fast like a salad or a can of stewed tomatoes or a bowl of soup.

On top of that have legal stress dealing with a complicated divorce 2100 miles away causing stress & eating is NOT what I do when stressed. Only good thing is that weed eating & chain sawing wood definitely is a stress reducer even though it is exhausting. Maintaining a healthy weight so far

Glad you are maintaining Eskielover. You do a lot of very hard work! I wish I could, too, but am too tired from the meds. and illness now.

I have a few "do nothing" days which I feel are earned. It is nice to not be on any meds & I have slowly gone off the pain med, replacing it with a lidocain treatment I do at home rather than go to the pain specislist. They made me not trust them so I took treatment into my own hands. That CBD oil will take away my migraine in about 15 minutes & is also a good natural sleep aid. I think being able to lower the dose of the pain med over this year by just cutting down what I had with the supervision of my friends who are a retired pharmacist & a PA for a local MD who prescribed me the viscose lidocaine which my pain specislist refused to do....it has helped with my energy level.

Along with buting good equipment for doing the work with....it all is coming together mostly

Screwed up yesterday. B/P

Not proud, it had been 6 months without doing that. However, I am not going to let it get me down. I'm going to take that, learn from it, and move on. Sometimes there are slip ups in recovery, that's normal.

Im at a good weight now, in my opinion I can stand to lose more but the nurse I saw yesterday says not to worry about it since I'm an average weight for my height now. So I'm just going to focus on eating healthy and mindfully now.

this week has been a mixture- a proper mixture.

monday- I cooked for myself, but found I couldn't eat anything and wasted loads and loads of food.

tuesday I got a papa john's pizza takeaway, ate it all *a medium 8 slice pizza), and was still hungry- so filled up on candy

wednesday- had a really bad day with overeating but better in the evening

Hi Blue_Bird
I'm sorry you had a set back, but it doesn't have to be any more than a blip on the radar. Just continue with all your great work from here. Even people with no ED will have an occasional really awful food day. Overall you're doing amazing- and that's still the focus.

I am planning to eat well today

all ready I have had:

2 slices of marmite on toast cut in to 4's with some juice

someone gave me some shortbread today, and I may try some of that later (I've not eaten it straight away), and later I am eating my roast lamb

that is all I plan to eat
Thanks for this!

That is an awesome tradition.

My local grocery store no longer carries lamb but we have an awesome meat processing plant about 30 minutes away & their lamb is fresh & awesome.

My friend is actually the farm manager at a local sheep farm that uses that meat processing plant.....after rescuing the new borns out if the snow this last winter with her & helping her feed the new borns in the barn we moved them to....I still like to eat lamb.

I have actually done well the past few days. Have been eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and stuff I want without obsessing over weight loss and calories. Just focusing on being healthy instead. Not going on diets, restricting, or putting certain foods as "off limits."

How is everyone else?

I decided I'm going to start going to Overeaters Anonymous, since I'm no longer in my day treatment program I don't really have any support groups to go to and this would be a good one. I know they're open to people with any problems with food.

Other than that, I plan to be more open with my doctor/therapist etc about the b/p

Going through a lot of stress with my divorce & division of marriage assets.

I eat well when out with friends but an home it's difficult to even focus on food to eat....maybe it averages out in the long run. I find my stomach growling but have too many things my mind is focused on to go downstairs to fix any food & no idea what I even feel like eating when I do go down to my kitchen

When I was in the ED treatment center in Ca for 6 weeks+ they made us go to OE anon. I think each one is different with the people involved but as an anorexic.....I really didn't fit in & couldn't relate to any of what was going on....but I probably wouldn't have fit in if it were an under-E anon group either as the issues causing it were more complex.

I hope finding a support group will be helpful. Support is always VERY important in our healing process
