Yeah pizza and brownies for me. Difference is, i left it in the kitchen and had to go back to get my servings - at least i didnt sit there and snarf it straight out of the box! So i ate a little less and i did servings - thats progress, not perfection. We're still on the path. Thanks again for this thread

Made it through yesterday and today. Did have some chocolate milk though, I snacked on fruit and vegetables today and ate as healthy as I can manage

Back on the eating track. Avocado toast for breakfast, roasted chicken and OJ for lunch/dinner (as i unpacked groceries!). Then i fell asleep til now! Fresh air and sun beating down on my head this afternoon. I should do some chores but im lazy and hungry. And lonely.

It looks like all this inspired a new "habit change" forum started by Doc John under the treatments section. I started a few threads there, one for right exercise, one for eating breakfast, and one for a nightly cookie! Guess which is my favorite habit!

I have found that 2 or 3 tablespoons of hummus with carrots or celery will power me thru a swim without my getting too hungry during. Almost anything else and i leave the pool cuz im thinking about food! Its very weird! Visions of Lean Cuisines dancing in my head - thats not good!! I didnt used to measure my hummus, but then i would eat it as dinner with a big plate of lightly microwaved formerly raw veg. That is probably not the way a grown up lady should eat!

Made it through yesterday without caving in and eating a pan of brownies, I let myself have just 1 this morning with my coffee.
Have plenty of apples to snack on. Did my first walk of the day, 2 more to go. I can't wait till it really starts cooling off, it is a little bit but it's still sunny. I want real Fall weather

I realized the 3 walks a day is a tad too ambitious for right now, so I've decided to keep it at 2. That's still over a mile a day which is a lot better than nothing at all.
Having a difficult evening. I think I'm having withdrawals from not eating as much sugar as I normally do, not in the best mood ![]()

It's day 3, I have walked 1.2 miles every day the past 3 days. Still doing pretty well with my diet too

I have lost 6 pounds so far. I have been walking 3 or more miles on the treadmill every morning. My therapist is saying I'm going a little overboard though...

I'm not gonna weigh myself until this weekend, I'm not expecting much of a loss since I'm only in my first week but as long as I'm not gaining I'll be happy! My reward for myself when I reach 40lbs lost will be getting a new tattoo ![]()

Hi, it's been a month since I posted. I thought I'd check-in...
I lost quite a bit of weight this month, which I'm both happy and distressed amount. My GP thinks it's too much, too fast - but I explained it's likely a lot of water weight to start (as I adopted a ketogenic diet.) Either way, down to 237.4lbs this morning. A loss of 15.4 pounds in the month... I'm thinking around 7 or 8 lbs of that is water. The loss only measures to one belt notch on my pants though... |

I'm still eating healthy. I've lost 10 lbs total within 3 weeks. I injured my foot during exercise...so I cannot exercise for awhile. It really, really sucks.

Still not losing weight But still feeling better. Adjusting my macros. Today i clocked out at about 1700 cals, 75 g fat, 135 g each protein and carbs, if i remember correctly. My blood sugar before bed / about 2 hrs after dinner was 159, which isnt bad for me based on what i see in my booklet, but im not sure what goal should be. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like in the a.m.

Sorry I haven't posted in here in awhile. I went on a junk food binge for several days.
![]() I just have to keep trying. Back to day 1 today. It seems so easy theoretically, just eat less and try to make some healthier choices but it's really a struggle

I'm not even sure how much I weigh now, last time I checked my scale said 234 so it's probably a little up from that but my scale's batteries are dead now, I guess I use it too much.
