I've done well today. I had spaghetti and meatballs and a can of soup. I've also done a lot around the house.

Yesterday I had a microwavable thing of Campbell’s French onion soup, a little container of apples and peanut butter, and an Amy’s organic Mac and cheese dinner. I also had a medium iced coffee from Sonic.

I started a new med that may cause weight gain. And I’m off my topamax too now. I took the new one last night and I just went to bed after. Right now I have a mild craving for nachos but I also feel sick as hell at the same time. So we’ll see how it goes. If my weight goes up from a med I usually take myself off it.

I downloaded the Noom app. But I haven't had time to use it. I prefer logging my food mentally. But I'm hoping to get tips out of the app.

@Deilla have you looked into using an RX card for your med insurance won’t pay for? One of my new ones isn’t covered by my insurance but with the RX app I was able to get it as low as $18 from one pharmacy. Way better than the $80 without.

Today I had half an iced coffee from Starbucks. A Jif To Go peanut butter cup, a bowl of double noodle Campbell’s soup without the broth, and another cup of peanut butter. I wonder if I’m making unhealthy choices by eating straight up peanut butter. It’s so filling. Right now I’m at 1,020 calories. Sometimes I don’t understand healthcare professionals.

Really? I’m on Medicare and I can use them. Weird. I hate how the rules are different for no apparent reason. I hate drug companies so much.

Yeah it’s an online thing. We called the pharmacy and he told us to download it. I’ve used it when I’ve had just Medicare and I’m using it now with Medicare and a supplement.

I ate a little bag of peanuts before dinner and couldn’t eat dinner. Peanuts had 7 grams of protein. My mom talked to me about not eating much dinner. The new med has been weird. My hunger has been all over the place. so I’m probably just maintaining my weight loss. Maybe I’ll try the peanuts before dinner tommorow night since nights can be hard with my hunger. Each bag has 170 calories. I’m now also into Jif to go peanut butter cups. Each cup has 9 grams of protein.

I've decided to cut back on the amount of pasta I eat. I will instead have brown rice, vegetables and beans. I will also cut back on fried foods. So less ordering from McDonald's. I really have to make some changes.

So far today I’ve had about 920 calories. A little bit less than that since I didn’t finish my soup. I’m going to have some brussel sprouts and chicken for dinner. I don’t plan on going over 1100. I walked around the block today.

I did a lot of emotional eating today. But I did have fruit and vegetables. And I did some work around my place. So maybe it will balance out.

I have made some improvements.cut out a lot of sugar stuff had only the odd weekly chocolate instead of eating it everyday.So I think that's good.I am still obese
and I haven't lost any weight but not gaining either so that is also good.Let's see if being on lockdown and not being able to go to the cafe helps me avoid fattening foods,and see if I can continue virtually no sugar and cut down on carbs and fat.Try exercise more too.

I feel like I'm making progress. It's a little easier to breathe now and I can stand up longer. So maybe I lost some weight. I'm afraid to step on the scale. I've been focusing on eating better. It's hard right now to do housework because of an injury. So maybe I can do some chair aerobics for exercise.

My doctor says I can start running. Been wanting to since I was 13 but couldn’t. Just gotta find some good running shoes now.

My mom annoys me sometimes. Last night she said “your eating soup and you just had a TV dinner?!” The TV dinner had 350 calories, and the soup had 140 calories per can. The only other thing I had to eat yesterday was 2 fruit snacks. I was still less than 1200 calories for the entire day after dinner. She’ll sometimes eat entire bags of potato chips in one sitting and I won’t say anything. It just annoys me that’s all. Plus I don’t think it’s very healthy for the thoughts I’m dealing with. I for sure needed both the TV dinner and soup last night.

I lost 8 lbs. I'm really happy about that. I had been feeling better so I stepped on the scale. I'll continue with eating well. Exercise is another story. I never have the energy.

I had about 1,240 calories today. I may have been a bit off since I had some of my calories at 1AM. So I’m pretty hungry right now.

I really like the banquet Salisbury steak TV dinners. I’ve been having them the last coulple of nights. My old therapist who was kind of heavy and liked to eat and never was talking to me about what I should eat, she wasn’t critical at all, said I shouldn’t be eating Banquet TV dinners. Yeah they are pretty unhealthy. I just like the Salisbury steak ones and the chicken tender ones with the brownie.

I had a rough night. I was sleep eating. I don't know why I do that. I had turkey, cheese and muffins. I feel full now. I'm sort of disgusted with myself. I don't know if I'm not eating enough the day before. I don't do it all the time. But on the days when I eat too light, I'll make up for it at night. I will try to do better today.

I went on my first run in 11 years this morning. It felt amazing. I got super winded basically immediately but I did make it around the block. I stopped once for about 15 seconds and walked. It took me 6 minutes and I burned 44 calories. I feel like that is a lot for just 6 minutes. My goal is to get to 5 miles several times a week. Today my intake calories will equal to about 1,250.

Id say thats in the ballpark. My rule of thumb for walking is 100 calories = 15 minutes = 1 mile. So you did about half of that? "They say" that the amount of actual work you do, whether you run or walk, is the same, its just how much time it takes.

I did some more stress eating last night. I ate grapes, cheese and muffins. I threw the rest of the muffins away. I just can't have junk food in the house. I feel angry with myself. Though I know I should show myself some compassion. I will make sure I have a decent dinner before going to bed tonight.

I didn’t do too bad today. My new meds are a nightmare. I had coffee for breakfast and a Little Debbie Christmas tree, some chicken tenders for lunch, and some popcorn for a snack. I only had one soda, lately I have had 3 or 4 a day. I’m not too hungry for dinner. I’ve had all my usual meds and then some. Somethings wrong just not sure what yet.
