My weight is finally going down after totally giving up zero sugar soda and working out every day. There must be something in zero sugar soda I react badly too because I just gave it up yesterday and this morning my weight was down for the first time in awhile.

Today I've had 1,265 calories. I'm not too hungry but I'll eat if I do.

Strength training is awesome! I wish I belonged to a gym with proper weight machine to use.

I've donte pilates the past few days, an early appt yesterday then having to get H up early this morning to go into work and H sleeps like the dead.
Possible trigger:
Isn't mental illness a blast?

I hope to get back to power walking tomorrow and maybe at least using some of the weights at the park. I am having super high anxiety and/or manicky symptoms, and I hope the exercise can help it.

I've lost 4 pounds since giving up zero sugar soda.

Today I had 1,520 calories, and I did 260 reps with my ab roller. I do about 30-50 at a time before I get tired but then I go back 10 minutes later. My goal is to get to 500 a day.

I do not mean to minimize your pain by making a comparison with a pet but back when I had a hamster, I was afraid each weekly cage cleaning that I would find him dead. He ended up living the outer limit of his species's life expectancy but one evening my fear materialized and I found him dead. Even now, almost 15 years later, I feel that internal dread simply writing about that fear

I understand your fears and anxiety blueberry

It was so wildly windy this morning I snuggled back down to sleep some more, I don’t run in strong wind these days, too hard. Ended up getting a lot of steps in as I walked to the hospital to meet a friend at the bus stop to visit another friend - it was so windy my walk took longer and was harder than I anticipated but I got 17,000 steps in.

I took a 6.5 mi power walk this morning, kind of long, but we had to put one of our cats sleep last night, it's been an emotionally trying day with some other stuff going on. @Discombobulated 17,000 steps is a lot!

I am very heavy, about 450 lbs. Been the exact same weight since 2020, which might be good, if I wasn't so heavy in the first place. I just cannot get motivated, no matter what I do. I detest exercise, and dieting even more. I do feel that it's good i haven't gained in 4 years, an absolute record for me, but i just cannot get started on a diet and exercise program.

Keep on moving forward. I lost about 20 pounds in jail. I lost another 20 pounds in this last institution i was in. I don't think I'll ever get below 200 pounds honestly, and I'm okay with that.

Sorry to hear about your cat blueberry, that is so hard, losing a pet is tough, be gentle on yourself.

I got a run this morning in the dark but it was so cold, I was bundled up though. I had some Christmas cards to post through doors so I changed my route which helps vary things.

Glad you got a run @Discombobulated. I may have to slow with the power walks; I think I pulled a muscle in my quad. God, I wish I'd stop getting injuries. I ended up taking a rest day today since I haven't had one in awhile. I may be doing pilates for awhile (skipping or altering sections where I hurt) until I feel a bit better. I've been putting diclofenac sodium topical gel, 1% on it since I can't take oral NSAIDs because of ulcer history but this is apparently a topical NSAID, so the doctor says and it won't have to go through the digestive system. Used to be only by prescription but now they sell it OTC. I wish it were still prescription though as it cost less (about half the amount) when the insurance negotiated a price for it. Now, since you can buy it OTC, the insurance won't pay a dime on it.

I didn't eat much today. Idk why. We went out to dinner and I was just stareing at the menu. I got plain chicken tenders and ate one. I hate going out to eat

Did pilates this morning. Trying to rest my sore quad. Hopefully it will heal soon.

Walks are wonderful exercise, no matter the speed you go.

Being okay with your weight ladyshadow is a big deal. You should be proud of your self-insight.

I'm somewhere around 740 calories for the day. Maybe a couple hundred more. I want to just sleep. Food sounds gross again. I have my chicken tenders from last night. Idk.

I had a really active day today, one run and several walks - massive lunch in the middle of the day with friends I rarely see all together. 30,000 steps which is the most I’ve done in a while but didn’t really feel it as was walking and talking a lot. Ate a bit more than was sensible (including figgy pudding which I’ve never had before like in the song) but it was a one off.

@Discombobulated - You are so active! I have been tired lately, stuck to pilates today, also to give me pulled quad muscle a rest. I may do a few more days of pilates before trying walking again. I just injure myself too easily because I push too hard, I think.

Oh, geez, I pulled a 7.2 mi power walk this morning. WTH is wrong with me?! Hypomania, maybe, ED stuff, maybe, OCD stuff maybe, holiday stress, maybe, maybe all of those together.

I need to calm it down though. I have a low normal BMI for my height, but I need to be careful. Mostly my eating is normal except a few days a month I don't feel like it much but think it is more related to my cycle than anything else.

I had a much less active day today but I had gifts to wrap and batch cooking to do for the freezer so that’s okay. I think I was around 5,000 steps. Busy few days at work coming up so need to preserve my energy.

I was injury prone first few years of running too blueberry, it was usually because I pushed myself a bit too hard. Take care!
Thanks for this!

I keep walking. I am in an episode that is situational by nature. Alternate between anxiety and low mood on one pole and elevated mood at the other pole. And you know what, walking helps handle both.

I did 260 push ups but I've barely eaten. I had a protein shake. I'm just lazy today.
