EDIT (TW, ED stuff):

Possible trigger:

Not enough for me yet today and it will include the above chicken recipe. What do I do now?! Suggestions anyone? I have already had 2 easy ones, an avocado & a banana. I do not have PB. Not sure if any of the nuts I have are still good so that one is hard too.

Nuts can last ages. They’ve got a pretty tolerant shelf life!

I look more toned and I've lost a few pounds but I just started on Friday. I'm going to get anchor arms like in SpongeBob in 6 months. I know I have a strong response to my weekly shots which is why my level is at the lower end of normal but my doctor says its still fine. So the fast stuff happening could be the shots.

My mini stepper came. No clue on how to set it up . My weight bench is coming in the next few days. Now I won't have to get down on the floor to do situps. Or sit on a yoga ball to lift weight.

My mom says I need to replenish thew new friege when it comes.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Moses, the 3 Wise men and the decipals am I suddenly exhausted.

Except for walnuts. They contain volatile oils and can quickly turn rancid. Almonds, by contrast, do not and they shelf life is long.

Blueberry,

I really like Core protein shakes. I buy them in chocolate to drink and also in vanilla to make chia and flax seed puddings. They are made from Fairlife ultrafiltered milk which has had half of its milk sugars and carbs washed out. The results is a high protein, high calcium drink which to me is quite palatable. I buy mine from Amazon in bulk, but you can get a bottle at groceries stores to try. They have recently launched the Strawberry flavor, which I have not tried yet.

If you have pure cocoa powder and milk, I can type up my recipe for a tasty homemade drink. I would add whey protein powder or collagen peptides (a type of protein) to make the drink more filling and nutritious.

I have read that exercise, especially vigorous exercise, does amazing things for prevention of breast cancer recurrences. Up to 40% risk reduction.

I did a lot of exercise today, but none of it was vigorous.

Personal training

arm bike (upper body cardio against resistance) for 10 mins

Rowing wiithout moving my legs - 20 mins

Arresting and foam rolling class, quite demanding - 69 mins

Some incidental walking captured by my Oura app

2 sets of Australian exercises and I might do the final third set right before bedtime

Here are some substitions I have tried with the chicken recipe I posted yesterday, and it is still delicious if you lack the above ingredients: chicken breasts, mozzarella cheese. You can substite chicken thighs for more calories or fat-free mozzarella cheese. You can even do both at once! It is still so delicious. I absolutey inhaled it yesterday!

I did fall asleep immediatly after putting my phone down. I weigh 4 pounds since last week.

I woke up and I did 10 squats with my kettleball and 300 reps with my ab roller.

@Blueberrybook do you like peanut butter? It’s a good way to get extra calories but nutritious too. I like it on oatcakes with banana slices and it’s not all that filling but sustaining if that makes sense. How about olives? I know some people gag at those but if you like them they’re quite calorific, again nice as small snacks. Pistachio nuts are great too as are pieces of cheese.

Sorry I just reread that you don’t have pb which I’m guessing is peanut butter. That’s too bad. If you don’t have too much in crackers or toast are always good options I find.

I don’t think you’re alone, in fact it’s human nature to fear being excluded, it’s part of our survival mechanism I think.

I was a bit in two minds about posting with what some of you are going through (my stuff seems so frivolous next to that) but decided to anyway. Please don’t worry about hugging or responding to my posts blueberry.

I was delighted to find most of the extension to the new coastal cycleway and footpaths are now open - yippee. It meant instead of two loops I was able to do one long run up the coast like I used to, it was blowy following a storm but not too bad, I felt it more on the incline when the wind was in my face though.

No toilet stop needed so I think my very cautious food intake yesterday helped. Last night I had salmon and cous cous and although I gave the guys roasted vegetables I had only a little (& I skinned my portion of zucchini!). I’m taking it steady post run and trying more protein, I just had tuna and cheese toastie with olives and plenty of water, see if I can avoid the energy crash. 13 miles in all, but the last couple were on very tired legs.

I need that workout bench to get here. I was doing crunches on my bosu ball. I think I did 30 or 40. But I could not stand up for a few seconds.

Anyways today it was 500 reps with the ab roller, 10 squats. Like 20 bicep curls and then 20 or 30 sideways and up each with my weights. Food wise I'm at like 1410 which is just about my goal. But some things didn't work out because I ate solid food for lunch.
