I didn't own my own computer until even later. Quite a bit later. But now I cannot imagine life without it

I went water walking today for 75 minutes but then realized that I should not engage in walking, even in water, without clearance from the podiatrist. So I wrote to him, asking about the activity.

I also did some incidental walking on land and my exercise duration for today is already 2 hrs 21 minutes, and the day is not over yet. I need to do grocery shopping.

3 sets of Australian exercises today! And I feel strong doing them now, and they are increasing in challenge level.

My biopsy is tomorrow. If this is cancer and I undergo surgery, then most likely I will be put on tamoxifen for at least 5 years to starve whatever cancer cells that remain. Tamoxifen has many nasty side effects, but it's benefits outweigh those for most women. One of the side effects I fear is vaginal atrophy and pelvic floor exercises were listed as one of the ways to prevent or counteract that. Knowing about their benefit, I now do my Australian exercises with renewed vigor.

Yeah I don’t think we got a computer until 2001 or so. It’s amazing how technology has progressed since then, but sometimes it feels too complicated.

Good luck with the biopsy Tart Cherry will be thinking of you. My sister is due to start endocrine therapy for her breast cancer treatment following radiotherapy (hers were eostrogen sensitive tumours), there’s a lot of new drugs available now. My mum had tamoxifen but was over 20 years ago so a lot has changed. Keeping everything crossed for you.

My weight was good today. My appetite is not really there. Or else I just have better self control. I did a lot of work in the garage and I got my stepper set up and I like it. My weight bench is coming today. I think I'll skip the ab roller. My knee is really bugging me still.

I couldn't help it. I got stressed out so I did 200 reps with my ab roller. Then I said eff it and I did idk how many weights. 30 up and down. 30 side ways, and 30 biceps with each arm. Then I did 30 crunches on my bosu ball, and 10 squats with my kettlebell. I feel aIot better.

I'm over 500 calories less on my goal of 1500. My psycy doctor said if I eat 1500 calories and burn like 500, I'll lose weight.

I'll figure out food later.

Had the biopsy. It wasn't painful. The radiologist instilled hope in me that this might be some vascular tissue inside the breast and not cancer. She said that everything feels soft under her hands, while cancer is usually hard. We will see in a week. I am hopeful but also prepared to treat it aggressively if it is confirmed as cancer.

There are some restrictions after the biopsy, so I have canceled the personal training session scheduled for tomorrow. I will ride on the upright stationary bike tonight, but slowly. Also, no swimming or water immersion for at least a week

What are people going to do when they lose coverage of weight loss meds or can't handle the side effects. I never want to go on one of those meds because of side effects. I feel like this whole weight loss stuff is going to blow up.

I do want to go to Thanksgiving all muscular and fit in front of my Ozempic cousins

Although everthing could be effed up in a month depending on surgery

Necessity is the mother of invention: I wore two pairs of shorts, one regular workout tight-fitting T-shirt fabric shorts underneath and the other bike chamois on top, to reduce the painful pressure on my seat and crotch. It worked partly and I still had to stop every ten minutes to dismount the bike, rest and sip water. But I was able to cycle this way for 42 minutes, so I am happy.

Also did 3 sets of Australian exercises and am going strong.

What I didn't do today was calf stretches, but I will squeeze them in before bedtime.

I pay for my Ozempic outright. It is not covered. One of the joys of working (I earn a salary and can afford it). And I have zero side effects.

So glad the biopsy didn’t hurt Tart Cherry. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Did my recovery run yesterday and this time I didn’t have my energy crash the day after my long run which is good, I usually end up nodding off in the afternoon. I wonder if the tweaks I’ve made to my food intake have helped. I’ll keep on it.

Rest day today, but I’ve got a lot to catch up with in the house so that’ll be a mini work out.
