Well Wings ,,,, It can get a bit Bizzare ,,,,,> For instance < ,,,,,,I was going to make pizza the other night....

I get everything out and ready to get started ,,,, Open the oven before Pre - heat.

A national Brand had a deal >>> 1 topping ,,each,,,,,,, Buy 3 pizzas pay only 5 $ a piece.,,,,,,,,,,,

I open up the oven and there are 3 pizzas in there ,,,,,,,,,And she ate a half a one .

As I said ...Bizzare .....LOL.

could be that the medication she's taking kind of quit working? or maybe, she needs a higher dose? i would get back with that doc on this issue. hope she gets her appetite back. maybe it's just a momentary loss of appetite and it will come back? i'm so sorry i don't have any clue to help you with this.

Yea I thought double dose ... but she not take marinol everyday.

I told the man with volume ,,,, what you want me to do ... force feed her. ?

The guy has no real world concept ,,,, and when I mentioned he went to a support group with a church place .. >> He was like I never ,,,but then he changed the subject ,,, even though he needed support from other spouses of cancer peeps.

Now as she is still on the phone with him ,, she told him I been asking her if she wants to go to the hospital. She told him she said no .

Ya see if I let her not care about herself I will be blamed for her dieing.

Although I prefere A Great Friend takes into consideration all ,,, and Then you trust there decision.

wm hon I am sitting here amazed at the love I can feel you have for your gf. cancer is just horrible! I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer 14 yrs ago. she would go thru not eating to eating whatever she had a taste for. she had to really be craving it though. my prayers are with you and your gf during these rough times. if you need me please feel free to pm or talk here. Hey Bop,,,, This morning I was awakened to a big thud ,,,,,

Had to pick up a tall dresser off of her ,,,, Luckily a bag of yarn was between her and the floor.

Got her to the bathtub,,,, She all warm and brushed off. No worse for where, But she said to me ....."We have to do something "

I told her " Oh yea ,, we are going to do something ...Your getting admitted to the hospital."

Well I have to shave and shower and then get her to the Onocology place. [ I hope these Docs don't need a thump in the head.]

oh hon I am so sorry she fell. yes get her in the hospital if she is willing to do something about all this. will keep you and her in my prayers.

This would have been last treatment .....But >>>> She dropped another 9 lbs. in 2 weeks ...So They were at the point of ,,,, Too weak to continue .

So now within 30 days surgery,, Radical double mastectomy and all local lymph nodes.

First she has to build up protien in her body and gain a little weight .

As far as today ( she says I tell Docs to much ).... Got them to Rx xanax so as to curb the vodka and Refill Lexapro,,,And when she runs out of marinol they re Rx That too.

And if in the next couple a days she not put on at least 1 lbs - 2 lbs. They admit and tube feed her. We have a Thursday appointment with Surgery peep .

Found out they can insert a feeding tube And I can make her take in nutrients ,,, That might work,, rather ,,than be hopefull for hospital peeps to do something .

Ya see I really have taken the approach as to why should I care when peeps don't see there selves in a mirror and except there virtue or destiny ...............Who Cares. Truly no one.

donna's finger nails fell off? I don't think I have ever heard of that hon. is she eating any better? I do care and I know others here do as well hon. all you need to do is ask for an ear or shoulder. we might be slow to respond due to work but we will be back with you hon

Gave Donna altimatum a couple days ago.....

I told her she saved my life with C P R 2 years back ,, and I was Mad she didn't let me come back on my own ...

I mentioned >> [ no good deed goes unpunished ] <<.

And payback is a witch .

So after watching long enough her die minute by minute ,,,, hour by hour ,,,, day by day .

I told her she either goes voluntarily to hospital and do 28 day lock down de - tox ,,,,,,,,, or I goe to courts and have her deemed a danger to herself and then she would not have the choice to help herself for her ..........

Her Docs and I talked to her.... And even as she said she not want to do this ... I gave her a marinol ,,, got her bathed ,,, dressed ,,, gave her a .5 xanax ,,, Took her through the Emergency Room , and waited 1 hour 30 mins. Until she was seen and examined .. When she put on hospital gown ,, I picked up her bag of clothes ,, She asked where I going with them ? >>> I told her to her room she was assigned . I came home with them .

She has now been in lock up de-tox ward and she now has peeps to make her know she has alot more to live for and that the cancer won't kill her ,,, she will sooner .

So 28 days and her Docs and Therapy and dry out time >>>> I Hope she knows I am her Best Friend <<<<.

And I did this because I CARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

Corky we know you care.. you did this for her benefit... now its up to her to figure that out. I am so proud of you for the courage it took to do this. She knows how lucky she is to have YOU in her life.. you done good hon.. you done real good.

Well when The Re - hab Docs say we will get her well >>>>> And Program is 28 days ,,,,, But oh well Medacaid only pays for 5 days ,,, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr .

I talk to some family peeps and find out if they can flip bill [ I know it can be done ] And Even her father is understanding more about mental illness and The Life time pain a peep goes through when They have some form of PTSD and I told him earlier today about Donnas
Spring break drugged up gang rape when her virginity was taken ,,, > That ,, That she had saved for marriage ,,, she was 18 at that time ,, I had told her brother about it when we left visitation earlier Today and then told her father about this ,, this afternoon and now just got off the phone with him ,, and told him that PTSD can be a life long plague to the mind . And I knowing her the best and longest on day to day basis I know she has never had therapy for any of her inner demons .

Now when to I broach the subject as to when he wrote me that letter in 1989 asking me to leave state and let Her Grow up and not have me to lean on . And I left without a word to her >>>> Nother long story ,, I stop it there with all I say is . Surprise I still there and here for her to lean on when the going gets tough . { end of vent }.

OMG wmd!! I hope that you and your friend can find some answers. I don't think I would have had the wisdom and intelligence to handle such a situation as you did. You are a life saver. Where do you get your strength from?
