Thanks guys. I am mixed between feeling stoned with the drugs or feeling pain. When I woke up this morning I was in pain, no question. I took drugs and now I am just staoned with some pain. Can't drive but I am going to try to get out some. FRIENDS TAKE ME AWAY

WW,

I'm not sure what kind of work you do, but if it involves using a computer (it seems that most jobs do anymore) perhaps you could get your employerto furnish you with a laptop, or let you use your own comp to do work from the comfort of your home for a while?

You and I have talked about the pain we're going thru with our backs. Mine has gotten out of control over the last month, hurts bad all the time. So you know I can empathize with you over what you're going thru. Just remember that your health comes first. Here's wishing you some relief very, very soon.

A big, but gentle hug,
Greg

Thanks Greg. I ronically I do my notes on computer but the only way I am comfortable on here is reclining in bed with a rack under it to stop it from overheating. The other issues are that I am in and out of the car constantly. In people's hot and uncomfortable homes a lot and have to haul my brief case and laptop all over. I have wheels for the briefcase and need wheels for the laptop. In all seriousness this is what has caused this latest bout. I am supposed to take a vicodin and a skelaxin now, or a little while ago and it's making me nuts cause I wonder how much more goofy the meds are making me feel. I drove 5 miles on a back road a bit ago figuring most of the drugs are out of my system right now. I was wrong. I rear-ended my own van in the driveway. OOPS. I am frustrated, disbelieving in myself, am I making this up? Can't get out of bed now, I am so pooped. Pain when I woke but in with the drugs and I felt a lot better. Thanks for asking.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. Physical pain just seems to magnify emotional pain when it doesn't seem to be going away.

I think we all could use a Tabatha (from Bewitched).....a twitch of the nose & everything is finished.....or the jeannie (from I Dream of Jeannie).....a wink & nod of the head & everything is done just the way we want it......I know dream on......we deserve it don't we?

The only major pain I have ever had was my migraines which were 24/7 for about 4+ years. The pain was over a 10 on the pain scale & would only go down to a 4 when I would get a demoral shot (200mg). After my neck fusion surgery (which they thought would fix the problem), they found that the fentynal patch was a good start for the pain, but only part. I couldn't even explain what happened as break through pain because it was always there anyway until they doubled the level of fentynal I was being given. Been on that for over 2 years & wow.....not a migraine since. That was when I realized how wonderful you can feel when you aren't in pain. I hope you can get your back pain fixed soon or at least get the inflamation to go down so you can get some relief.

A pool would be great yes.....the best way to exercise a sore back....maybe you could get a prescription for one from your DR????lol

Hope you are feeling better soon,
Debbie

Well Sky I figured that if I am supposed to take it 4 times a day then if I was an hour late taking it I should be okay driving. Now, no one died and the joke about the van was that I was trying to get the little ole geo and the van to mate but the van wasn't receptive.

Okay, so today, no drugs at all. Just spacey me. I am going to pick up friend's son and realize that I was taking the route to the dump and that I hadn't turned to go to his house. So, I try to do a uturn and fail, try to back up out of the dicth quickly without rolling foreward, it's a standard, end up stuck with my car's butt in the road and the front in a ditch. Well, being the crative soul I am, and being that the geo is old and owes us nothing, it's reliable cheap wheels and I can go over 300 miles on 3/4 of a tank of gas. Well, all that being said, I decided to drive down into the ditch and drove a hundred feet and tried climbing up, too steep, drove another 100 feet and up it went slick as not. So I pick up my friend's kid and he is a little frightened driving with me, too bad, he lost his license. He told me I almost pegged off a bicyclist before a stop sign. Ha ha I say, no points for almost!!!! It's an ugly story of a woman losing her mind but it must be told, it just must.

So the kid cleaned house for me and even did the fridge which I had said would not be as bad as the microwave. I lied. So much dead food now we can put real food in there if we had any. He told me he had to have a chat with my daughter about the microwave splatters and the use of plastic rap. hmm, seems I am the last one here to open fridge or microwave so what do I know?

Rest assured Sky, no more driving today. The adventures in drug hangover land were big and broad. Can''t take too much excitement in one day.
