i called the volunteer org,for registration to be a volunteer,i told the receptionist that i don't want my parents to know what i do,so don't tell my residence community commitee and the reason, she said ok at first, and got me registered,it was done.but a bit later,i called back to make sure she understand my condition, she said all registrations must be handed in from the bottom units to upper headquarters,so my residence commitee will know about it....no where to run.

Darn bureaucracy. Well... maybe just continue with it and hope that your parents don't get too upset about it?

there's another thing.i have a certificate for mental disablity.in earlier years, there were a lot of quarrels between me and my mom,so she sent me into mental hospital several times, afterward, she got me a certificate for mental disability,so as to claim some relieve money which are about 300 a month,so i am registered disable person.my condition has been getting much better since i got my own place apart from my mom's after i got out of the last time hospitalization in 2007.i am now clear about my state, ready to start off, just face a lot of put down from my family.some tough ones.
the thing is that people even from the residence community commitee don't know much about psych knowledge, they think we people have psych problems are violent and dangerous.even though through all this years i have never hurt anyone, just lacking of social skill, but they are ignorant on this area,so there are lots of discrimination in the neighborhood,as i said, even within the help office people in my residence committee.
the thing is also that when i get out to attend an activity or a work,i got signed up with my personel id,on which there is my home address.so it is possible the group i attend would call my residence commitee for some infomation about me,then, bang, they learned i am mental disable,....
so it is another blockade along the way.i asked my mom to cancel it.not only because of the bad reputation, but in itself i am not qualified or fit for the name of a mental disable.i mean sure you can call me a mental patient, but not big to the disable degree, for which you are given a certificate and everyone would know about.you know, she is unwilling to do it.besides that she want me to cower or huddle this life, there is some relieve money.....
idk what to say,i am lost, today's been another tough day.

Is there some way you could prove to the respective committee that you are not mentally disabled? Maybe show them that you have your own place, have tried working, and the one thing holding you back is that certificate? Or can they just call you insane and ignore you? I don't think your mom will if she's getting a pretty sum from it. Have you tried asking to see if there is anything you can do?

some food for thought: what do you enjoy? what is not addicting and will enhance your life and the others around you? what is affordable in terms of time and money? Think of it yourself, and if you need input, perhaps consult someone close to you, for ideas. Then, just jump right in, a little at a time, if need be! Best to you!

do you need to work to make money? or do you just want to, to fill your time, and be useful?
if you don't need the money, maybe you could volunteer? they wouldn't check your background as much, and it wouldn't matter about money if they weren't paying you.

if you do need to work for money, maybe you can have yourself re-examined, and have a new certificate issued stating you are now mentally able to work?

I wish that authorities eliminated this certificate that classifies you as a danger to you and others based on your mother's perceptions. The medical doctor and psychiatrist both do not have much influence in the accuracy of this document. I understand your region of China is much different than Shanghai or Beijing, but even though you are an adult, your parents hold control over your life in this way. I wish that your parents change their minds and permit you more freedom.
Thanks for this!

I believe that there are privacy policies on various websites especially blogs everywhere. Certain key phrases and topics can cause a person to lose there account access.

So in it is not just in China there is this type of monitoring.

There are governments that do censor certain key topics. China is one of them.

But I believe that the Homeland Security and what other alphabet soup intelligence organizations do practice similar monitoring of key words or phrases as well.

Sorry, this thread is so long I don't really have the time to go through it in entirety.

To develop a hobby I think that it is as simple as finding something you love to do or learn about, or something you always wished that you could do.

However, I find that having mentall illness, depression at least, makes it very difficult to find thing interesting or enjoyable. When I stop feeling depressed the things I love are fun again, but depression makes me feel like nothing I do anymore is enjoyable.
