I am sorry you are still going through stuff with the ex BPA. I don't find it especially unusual that someone would not be open to hearing they were abusive even if they work in the area. Not fun for you certainly, but not unusual that he would not be receptive.

I picked up the book Daring Greatly the other day. I forget who suggested it, but so far it is decent. I am not too far into it yet; so far so good.

Hubby just yelled at me for looking sad all week and because I tell him that it's not something he can help me with when he asks. I just told him now that sometimes people are sad, you cannot expect me to walk around grinning like an idiot all the time, I am learning how to allow myself to feel my feelings, and now he's making me feel like I felt as a kid, that I have to deny how I feel even in my own ****ing home. I am worried about my t, she has had a cough for a long time and was finally going to get it checked out, and I am so fearful that she is seriously ill, and feeling also very guilty because of the letter I sent her before christmas telling her of my fears, I should not have bothered her with it, ugh I don't need my husband now telling me to "look happy". **** him. Sorry for the rant. I just had to get it out.

On a less ranty note, I just discovered a show on tv called "America: Facts vs Fiction". It's interesting, and may take my mind off things.

This morning I submitted the last of the documentation for my son's disability. Then I dropped off a housing application. I spent all afternoon applying for jobs. I. Am. Getting. Out. Of. This. Place.

We've got snow here... Not a foot, but enough that the roads are just tracks. I ended up sliding earlier as I approached an intersection going down a hill. It was solid ice. Typically my SUV is fine in the winter as I have good winter tires.

I'm reading another book by Brene Brown right now "I Thought it was Just Me." It's all about shame and I'm getting a lot of out it. I've heard good things about her. I hope I get something good out of reading it.

I'll add that to my list. If I enjoy this one I will pick that one up.

I hope I don't jinx myself.... But I'm looking forward to therapy in 2015. I had the 2nd really good session in a row... I used the 20 seconds of courage and Really shared how I was feeling about therapy. I had already realized that it was a lot about my reactions about women that was getting in way... She answered all my questions... I think I might be able to relax and really be able to let her in just a tiny bit more now.

A potential employer wants me to do an assignment. Not just a multiple choice test, but a proper assignment with design and programming. Scary. I never did one before.
