One of our kitties is going to his new home today.. The kids seem ok about it now, but I am afraid for when the hand off actually happens!

In my profession, I'm not required to notice, but if I do notice I am required to report it. It's helped me develop a pretty good sniffer for lies. I, too, have to remember that if someone is lying on a forum, it is NOT about me, and it is not my place to stop them. However, I really want to point my finger and jump up and down shouting "liar liar pants on fire" so I have to stop myself.

Sorry you're going through this MKAC!

Thanks, SM! It is not a big deal. I have just been very depressed and weird and I had that moment this morning of wanting to yell, NUH-UH! And like you, point and yell the liar liar song.

I think sometimes people remember wrong. Or we don't have all the info. Either way, there are just sometimes I walk away. Or a lot of times I just walk away.

Hmmm, how many cups of coffee are acceptable before noon?

Yeah, I'm getting dangerously close to doing or saying stuff that will just get me in trouble with those who may not be named per guidelines that may not be discussed. hahahahaha. Ah. I crack myself up.

As many as it takes, sometimes I have it all.day.long.

Today is sweet tea at work after 3 mugs of coffee at home.

Haha. You're killin' me here. Now I'm like - LET ME IN YOUR HEAD!

Confession: I don't pay attention to a lot of the details here on PC so one person could tell me three different contradictory things and I'd be like, "Okay!" Lalalalalalalala...

I say that my frequent moving short-circuited whatever part of my brain is supposed to hold onto that info. Not in all cases, but it has to do with priorities. Or something. I don't know. I don't think I even know what I'm saying. MOAR COFFEEEE

I think I might need like 10 more cups. I'll be twitchy on the floor.

I'm sure I am inconsistent at times. When I'm writing in affect, my mind gets a bit distorted sometimes. And sometimes I change details in my story because I'm paranoid.

No, you'll just turn into a Finn! (They are the only people who drink more coffee than Swedes do, apparently.)

Thank you for that input, Mast. [And in general wasn't talking about you, or any one person in particular] I was not talking about tiny details or anything, but I will keep that in mind.

Yeah, don't waste your breath MKAC. You can shout the truth all day and twice on Sundays at some people and they are just not going to hear you. Spent 10 years married to one of 'em.

Sometimes I think it's part of psychiatry training to learn how to be condescending. Certainly not all are, but of the one's I've interacted with, I've liked exactly one. The one I'm working with.

I've heard so many horror stories about psychiatrists in this country, and about how badly people are generally being treated by the psychiatric health care in my home county. But I've only ever met one psychiatrist - my current T - and the county pays him to see me. So I think I have been very lucky. It makes me feel rather guilty.
