I selected a Malbec. We shall see. We shall see.

Don't forget to buy something else, before your friend comes over.

I am not much of a wine drinker - but I have had some decent enough box wines in the past year. I only drink red - but they were better than some of the stuff from trader joes.

I have to change my username to crazy cat lady. Another little girl adopted us today, don't know where she came from. Maybe she'll leave again tomorrow but she really likes my oldest daughter.

Cats 6, dogs 3, humans completely outnumbered. Glad they're all friendly!

" Boxed wines" are getting a better reputation because some good vineyards are starting to use boxes for their stuff. The truth is, it does keep longer and thus wine makers can sell it in larger more versatile containers. I'm a bit of a wine snob and found some really good wines in boxes.

I am going to be making cinnamon buns for this weekend. I have two new recipes to try.
I tried a couple of hot cross bun recipes last year but they were not a huge hit - possibly an acquired taste for those expecting cinnamon buns. I was even trying some really old recipes for them that I had found that had been re-written into modern english (so I could understand them).

Good luck with buns and dinners andeverything anyone is doing.

Today i gotincredibly angry at mi MI because it has stolen over half of my productive years i could have been nurse manager if i hadnt gone off on some wild goose chase or lay in a depression on my bed for weeks. Or sabotaged myself constantly. Why arent gps trained properly to see this or at least refer someone on to a T.

Well, I'm a fan of the box wine. Who knew? I think this is the way I'll go from now on.

My cat is so excited the weather is turning nice he has spent the day going out the dog door and coming to the window in the front room and demanding to be let in the front door. Just because he can. And he knows I will.

My crazy cat hears the coyotes at 4am and runs to the sliding glass door to be let out. Stupid cat has no sense.

My new one spent the night prowling my room, nudging my hand, and I distinctly remember getting slurped on the forehead. Smh none of the others do that!

Being a "good" mom hurts. Left a crying inconsolable first grader in the not-so-caring hands of the vice principal this morning. just another day in paradise.

Have some fresh coffee. {Hands it to Healed.}

There's more for the rest of the couch in the pot.

And anyone with rain. Please send it to us. Thank you.

The only thing falling from the sky around here is pollen. We could use some wet stuff to knock that down, as well.

Called the VP, turns out she was fine by the time he got her to the classroom. I knew that was going to be the case, but still don't feel any better about it. She's been doing so well lately, and just when you think everything is solved, another bump in the road. Time to re-evaluate bedtime routine, morning routine, and see what's causing the anxiety this time. Again. Sigh.

Have a happy Monday Couch! I'll try to be more chipper the next time I peek in. I would post a pic of new kitty, but I have to snap one without a child in the frame.

See, part of my problem is that as part of my profession, it IS my job to point it out when people are lying. It's what I DO for a living, so I am really ****ing good at it. I have a wicked memory and am somewhat obsessive, which is a great combo for an attorney. Not a great combo for being on a public forum on which calling others out on inconsistencies is frowned upon. LOL.
