Morning, couch.

Well, I am up and awake-ish. Slept in till 11. Dang. Need to try to get cleaning done today. Ended up emailing pdoc last night asking for advice on staying on top of taking my medication and how to safely start taking it again. No response yet. Don't know if I will get a response, but it is worth a try. I could always call his cell (clinical one), but I am so bad at talking about these things, so I went for email.

Have CVS tonight. Only for 4 hours, but it's hours.

Our softballs gals lost the championship in the bottom of the last inning. What a heart-breaker! But coming in 2nd in a state with that many softball teams is no failure. Very proud of them. After the game we were giving them hugs and every last one of them thanked us for making the trip down to support them. We packed the stands, that's for sure. I was very proud of all of our students. They were well-behaved, polite, and displayed good sportsmanship.

It may take me a few days to recover though. It was HOT out there and bus rides, even on charters, somehow find muscles you forgot you even had.

Wow, well done Lolagrace. Coming 2nd is fab!
I am feeling a bit poorly today, but have had a lovely day in the sunshine.
The letter I have written for T is sitting in my drawer, I can't stop thinking about it. I just want to burn it (did that with the first one) or eat it (did that with the second one )
Argghhhh

Btw it's scone pronounced sconn. I know I'm right.

So I did drum last night, and then went to sleep early, and had quite a dream... did some work with that dream this morning, an active imagination while swimming, which was good work in itself then the thinking I was doing afterward was even better. Yesterday's mess in my head or whatever it was, was my psyche setting up the dream I had last night, which led to the work today, which led to something big: I now know what the next phase of my 'inner work' is. I think I'll make a separate post about it. I am feeling MUCH better today.
Thanks for this!

One of my cats brought in a lizard one time. We thought it was dead, until I attempted to pick it up by the tail, upon which I found out it was most assuredly alive! those suckers run fast!! lol

We could not tell any difference in the egg v eggfree scone.
They were quite good but I thought they were too sweet and partner thought they were not sweet enough.
That is our usual battle.
And I used apricot preserves because I don't like strawberry all that much.

But how do you pronounce it, stopdog?

(I say /skɒn/ , rhyming with "gone", because my UKnian office mate baked wonderful scones and would not let me get any unless I pronounced the word like that - more to the point, that's also how it's pronounced in Swedish.)

I've heard it rhyme with ice-cream cone or Genghis Khan. Which is considered correct?

Muppets from Space is on. I love the muppet Pepe so much. And Sal Minella, the gangster Johnny's gorilla. Johnny was complaining there were no cannoli at the party. I would complain about that too!

Lol - josh charles is in it - the bf from the good wife!!

Hi couch. I am just sitting in my car outside CVS waiting till it is time to head into work. Little bit longer, but not too long. Wonder what interesting stories I will hear tonight. Our customers are very open about personal things.
Thanks for this!

Both are correct - there are pie charts behind the link in my post on the previous page.

I haven't had a scone in a long time. There was a little coffee shop across from where I used to work when I lived in California that had really good ones.... but I haven't had one since I lived there! I've always wanted to learn how to make them.

We had a cat who brought us a red bellied black snake , the 5th most venemous snake here. She ran under the house with it and played with it til was not very well and dumped it onthe doormat.

Scones shouldnt be sweet as they are just sr flour butter and milk and a pinch of salt. Or was the jam and cream too sweet?
