Yes you could do what stopdog suggests and maybe just have the old one stripped down with new carpeting added. The poles are usually just covered in heavy jute twine which is easy to remove. Then just get new twine and wood glue and resurface the poles
Thanks for this!

You want a plus-size cat tree.

The lotus cat tower is the most modern of the bunch and looks nicer than most cat trees. But less carpet so cats don't like it as much for scratching

I saw that cat tree on Amazon months ago and loved it right away! Even though it is kinda out of my price range, I have been keeping it in the back of my mind. You are right about the carpet, however. And no aforementioned nest...

How to make a large cat tree:
How to Make an Homemade Large Cat Tree for Cheap - All

Also - I just did a quick search on craigslist and several came up as well as one ad for custom made cat tree houses - and the 54 inch tall one with several shelves was only $85 and it said others could be made to order - so it might be there is someone in your area who does this sort of thing.

W bought a very expensive cat tree and the ungrateful beasts hardly ever use it. Even the cave is empty most of the time and the perches are never occupied at all.

Trader Joe's Bollywood popcorn is delicious.
Unconscionably and prohibitively, for regular consumption, expensive. But undeniably delicious if one likes curry at all.
I have recipes to see if I can make my own.

Does anyone know if it's possible to unsee a thread title? Literally, like make it be deleted from view? It's not a horrible thread by any stretch and even the title probably looks benign to most everyone, but short of taking a break until it drops from view, is there a way to get it to not be visible?

I wish. There have often been threads that I would like to just hide from view. Wish that was an option, but apparently it isn't an option in the software PC uses.

Report it? That has worked for some rather objectionable titles in the past. And if its the one im thinking of, i totally agree with you. If you read the thread, the thread has the opposite intent, but thats not how it comes across.

Oh. My. Ice-cream. Donut.

Weight watchers suggested replacement - grapes with 1 Tbsp sugar free chocolate syrup.

Kind of like the KFC chicken sandwich where the "bun" was also chicken. Or the pizza with the crust stuffed with cheese.

If I'm ever in Phoenix again, and it's baseball season, I'm going for this: D'backs' colossal sundae.

The kfc double down was, despite all the things so very wrong with eating it, delicious.

I would never let my children put plastic bags over their heads. When I found MuMu completely inside one, imagine her face as I took it away. She has a different philosophy than I have about safety and fun. She may not speak to me again all day!

Feeling grouchy about therapists after reading many posts. Not my own current one, but past ones. The other day, I was sharing something about the therapist with the traffic signal who tried to trick me into something. My therapist said she (old t) was baiting me into disclosing, and it was wrong. Luckily, it had been only a few sessions in with the old therapist and I got out as soon as that happened. I read things here and see how badly it gets when a horrible therapist gets their hooks in and the person can't get free.

This is not saying anything about those who are happy with their therapists (the one I have now is great for me). I'm just reflecting on crap with therapists of the past that these other threads are bringing up.

Sorry to hear that. I've had some bad ts too. As with any profession, some people are good at their jobs are some aren't. It's important to keep looking until you find the right t. I'm glad you have a good one.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
